Suns going to try to sign him back, I think. He would be useful for this team.

They could do a lot worse for a 10th-12 man. He can play and shouldn't cost a lot.

Bender has a lot of talent and is still very young, but he's going to have to want it a lot more to be successful.

There are limits on how many veterans can play in the SL, you can get around it if they played in the D-League or were injured part of the previous season, but they might have wanted Bender and other players there instead.

It's a one-year rental obviously, and his health and ability to fit in are up to question, so it isn't a slam dunk that this makes the team better.

Chances are that it does, and it's a great opportunity for Cousins to improve his image, show he's healthy and get a big payday in 2019.

I'm hoping he plays well - I'm not betting my life on it, but it would be a pleasant surprise.

I think I'm the only one left on Chriss Island. I still think he has shown way more value than Bender and that he'd benefit from some real big man coaching. What exactly do you think his strengths are? What do you see his role being on this team? I think he needs some serious coaching, not by Watso...
