Not that I'm putting so much stock in Gambo, but he said the Suns didn't have interest in Haliburton which could be smokescreen or the fact that they figured he'd be gone.
Yesterday that clown "narrowed" down our list of guys we like at #10 to SEVEN guys. Wow, thanks for that 'insider.'

Re: Trade: Chris Paul to Suns for Ricky Rubio and Kelly Oubre Jr.

If we made this trade to win now, you need to do more than run it back by swapping out PGs. Absolutely. This is why I don't like the news that they plan to bring back Saric. PF is a position where we can make a real win-now improvement. Same. I don't really care that much how he played in those 8 g...

Re: Trade: CP3

Chris Paul is 34 without any major injuries and changed his body last season to offset the natural decline in physical abilities. He couldn't get to 60 games a season under D'Antoni, but not many point guards can. Mike D'Antoni wasn't his coach in 2016-17. And he missed games because of a torn thum...

Re: Trade: Chris Paul to Suns for Ricky Rubio and Kelly Oubre Jr.

this. If we trade away 10 for two late picks, and just try and run it back with the rest of the guys we had, I will not be happy. If you are going all-in, you go all-in. No half-measures. Would you consider the 14th and 26th, for example, as two late picks? Not challenging you, simply curious. I am...

Re: NBA Draft 2020

I think he’s playing up what he knows for attention/followers, but he seems somewhat legit. People connected to the team now and in the past have vouched for him(Espo, Jon Bloom) I don’t know his source, but he seems to have someone. How reliable they are is another story. I've seen enough to belie...

And over 73 million people actively chose to have more of it.

Re: Trade: Chris Paul to Suns for Ricky Rubio and Kelly Oubre Jr.

I feel better and better having James Jones as our GM by the day. He brought in a great head coach, we're renovating the arena, finishing a state of the art practice facility and he's added some great players to the roster that can lead the young guys. First with Rubio and now with CP3. I think he'...

... Also said in comments that we’re not getting Grant, Gallo, or Bertans. And said he doubts PJ in a trade back. Didn’t take trading back, trading out, or just picking at 10 off the table. Then what does he see us doing with the MLE? Surely we do more than just keep Saric. He didn’t say None of th...

If we do trade back, we really need to wait until we’re on the clock to do it. This draft has a lot of potential to get weird and a guy like Toppin or Hali might slip.
Well, and you would hope we learned our lesson from the Curry trade/non-trade.

Re: Around the League: Offseason

I feel bad for the Rockets. It just feels like James Harden should get to spend his days there chucking 3s and falling down until he's 38. Being forced into trading him now for a much more boring player like Simmons just feels wrong. They'll go from being a perennial contender / near-contender for ...

Re: Around the League: Offseason

If I'm the Rockets, I'm not sure I want Simmons over a package of Dinwiddie, Levert, Allen and picks. I like Simmons but given how limited he is offensively, you really need to build up the roster and pay a max deal for him. If you're bottoming out, then sure take Simmons and take. But at least wit...

I know it's a joke (kind of), but you're right.

I'll give it 3.5 dunkers out of 9. Booker, Bridges, Cam and half a point to Ayton.
half a point to Ayton is generous.

Ha. I just changed it because larceny didn’t make sense.
What if he were being paid in weed? Then could it be larceny?

Presti and David Griffin have all the draft picks.
It will be like watching a table tennis match during draft night. They could just do it in person sitting across the table with Silver between them.

Re: Trade: Chris Paul to Suns for Ricky Rubio and Kelly Oubre Jr.

Even though ESPN reported it, I hope we're keeping our options open on the timing of the trade. Or, if we are doing it prior to free agency, that we know some things/have some under the table commitments. it feels like many of the teams/players already have stuff worked out and are just waiting to ...
