McConnell is marginally better than what we have now. He's not worth more than a 2nd round pick, and there's no reason Philly would give him up for that.

Knight looking RIPPED! I'm willing to give him another chance and a fresh start with the new coaching staff next year.

Me too. Do we know, is there any chance he comes back this year? He tore the acl in July? Probably not, but should be good to go next season.

Good for Brandon, but I'm not sure that's going to help him make more shots.

Wouldn't it be just the darnedest thing if, after trading away all three of Goran Dragic, Isaiah Thomas, and Eric Bledsoe, we end up with Brandon Knight as our long-term starting PG?

Darndest isn't the 1st word that comes to mind.

I would use a stronger word than "darndest."

Why? He has proven to be just D-League level so far because he is so damn inconsistent.

That's what I've been expecting. From the offseason, we've thought Chandler would be trade-able to a contender. Now we also have Monroe whose expiring contract is on the trading.

Whoever we can get a good offer for is gone.

I believe he can only play with the team for a total of 45 days this season, so we have to either sign him or actually send him to the NAZ suns pretty soon. Then we only have one PG on the roster.

It won't be Len. He's basically got a no trade clause and it hurts him to agree to a trade.

I can't see how it is Monroe. His contract is $17 million dollars. How can you send him out and not take any salary back in return in order to open up a roster spot? It will be very difficult.

I'm surprised there isn't more interest in Chandler. He's old, but is a solid vet and could help a team on the bubble in need of some defense. Thought the Cs would be a decent fit but they don't look like they're struggling for defense.

Same for Chandler at 13. We would have to bring back someone we are willing to buy out.

Crikey, there are a lot of bad contracts in that pay range, but not many where any kind of trade makes sense.

Defense? Have you watched him lately? He's good for one thing now and that's rebounding. Oh, and I forgot veteran presence.
