Ennis will be developed in Bakersfield. Problem solved, hello farm system.

I think that's a bit of an overstatement. The Suns signed him to be their backup point guard, to fill a role that Ish Smith held down last year. It's not like Isaiah is going to radically change our rotations. We're still starting Tucker, Plumlee and presumably Markieff, so it's not like we're downsizing in any way.

The Lakers just gave Jordan Hill and Nick Young 14mil a yr combined.

Pick next year looking high...

No way in hell - Bryant said good-bye to anything resembling his old self once that achilles popped. Just ask Elton Brand and Mehmet Okur, to name two.

Agreed, he should have been on that round table talking about "I knew it was over when...". I've never seen a player on the backside of 30 ever ever ever come back to even close to what they used to be.

I'm guessing the Suns are about $17 million under the cap now if they renounce Randolph and Smith.

Most of that will disappear when they re-sign Bledsoe of course.

Only one - Dominique Wilkins tore his at 32 and then came back the next year to average 29.9 points.

It depends on how bad the tear is, and yes age is a huge factor in the recovery of course. Most of the 30+ stars who have had the injury - Kevin Porter, Isiah Thomas, Brian Taylor, Norm Nixon, Mehmet Okur.

Brand was only 28 and he was never really the same player afterwards and neither was Nate Archibald who 29 and a star, but got back to being a borderline All-Star with Boston

With Kobe being 35 at the time, and already showing signs of slipping and now having inferior talent around him, I wouldn't count on him being anything close to what we remember from the 2010 playoffs.

This guy is going to be our backup point guard?? I'm completely sold on this deal.

Some takeaways from the video:

-Thomas can score from anywhere. He's extremely crafty down low.
-Great at splitting screens up high.
-He's perfected the running pull-up fadeaway jumper, which I didn't even know existed.
-No fear. A lot of those highlights occurred in big games against the Clippers, Pacers, Spurs, Heat, and Thunder.

I remember earlier last year, we played the Kings a few times and they killed us. Everyone at BrightSide was terrified of Isaiah because we had no one to guard him.

Oh, I see what Carey is talking about, yeah that was just me relaying Coro's info with putting the tweet in because my tablet was being c***.

i see the clever wording there, coro. suns wont have to deal bledsoe, they might just not resign or match his contract anymore.

and i wish the nba has a loan system where a team like the suns can loan their players to other nba teams (for example suns loaning ennis to NYK, a team that has PG needs) instead of relying on d-league teams.
