He seems genuinely hurt that we did not do everything we could to keep him. I will miss the guy, but honestly if another team was willing to offer him 4/$32, it's best for all sides for him to take it and leave. We can't pay him that, and he would be silly to turn down that huge paycheck at this stage of his career. I wish him the best. Why does he have to be so bent out of shape about it?

He's probably just answering questions honestly, from a media with an agenda... He obviously loves Phoenix and wanted to be here, and that stands out a lot more from his statements, IMO, then any bit of whining or justifying. I'm sure if we offered him something fair with a *no trade clause* he may have taken it. His whole thing is, its a business, why take a discount to stay, when there is no guarantee that you will actually get to stay?
