I'm glad you and Xylus are going to get what you wanted.
You don't want him on the team at all, or just not at that price? And did the feeling change from end of the season to now?
It's been pretty clear since shortly into this past season that INF would rather Bledsoe be somewhere else.
After this off-season, frankly, I was almost in the same boat.....
Thanks Swing. I wasn't here then, and haven't caught up on those threads yet.
Well, it's kind of impossible to catch-up to the beginning of the season, as the original board went down in November - but yeah, in-between then & now, INF's take has been consistent.
I personally think it's unwarranted outside of possible injury concerns, but I sort of see where he's coming from.....

That's the ultimate hump.

I am happy to have Bledsoe stay if it is at or near the original 4/48. The cap is about to go way up, so that deal will look better with time as long as he stays healthy. And he makes a great backcourt with Dragic. No hard feelings as long as he comes back as a team player.

5 years, $70 million, according to sources. Wow.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

HUGE concerns about his health holding up. That's a LOT of money.

GROSS. $2Mil per year more than they wanted to spend. A boatload of dead weight when his knee goes.
Go Suns!

Does anybody know why we had to go up that much?

Agreed re the knee concerns. This deal is a lot more palatable with a team option for year 5.

No options! That is crazy. I can't believe it.
I know this isn't going out very far on a limb (if at all), but there is no way he finishes that contract here.
