Great win for Brooklyn. No Kyrie? No KD? No problem.
Trendon Watford. Please and thank you.

This fucking sucks but Suns will be fine. Plenty of season to go still and this team needed a punch to remind them they still have more work to put in. The regular season is full of highs and lows, shit like this happens. Learn and move on.

Book finished 9/20 for 22pts
I know he had 18 at the Half so I'm guessing he went like 2/9 or something like that in the 2nd

I really can't remember the last time he scored 4pts in a 2nd half. Improbable stuff all around
Just checked, 2/10

On 4 straight possessions, CP3 went 4/4 including 3/3 from 3 for 11 points...he didn’t take another shot until his heave at the buzzer.

Of course Brooklyn was also 4/4 and 3/3 from 3 in the 4 possessions after each Paul shot.

Ayton is usually pretty good at switching onto guards but it wasn’t working tonight and literally nothing was done to try stop the problem whole quarter. Booker just disappeared. Just chucking 3s not moving the basketball. This was an ugly half.
They finally fought through a switch once and Jeff green just strolled by Ayton for a layup anyways.

Remember that 4 game stretch when we thought Ayton turned a corner?
Ayton’s offensive has been frustrating this season but I felt his defense has been pretty good for most of this season and pretty good for this stretch, his defense in the 1st half was great. This team collectively, outside of Paul, just went to sleep in the 2nd half. They got full of themselves and thought they could cruise in the 2nd. This was humbling loss and hopefully everyone learns from this.

Ya, his defense is usually good...it’s just super noticeable when it’s not. And tonight in the 2nd half it was not.

But you’re right, everyone turned it off in the 2nd half. Except Paul. Brooklyn put up zero resistance in the first half and we thought the game was over. They tried to coast it in and couldn’t turn it back on.

One of those games that makes me want to trade Ayton tomorrow
This team will be fine, I think Ayton will be fine. This team is good, and has real potential to make noise in the playoffs but there going to be growing pains, this is first time in a long time this franchise has played meaningful basketball, I full expect more frustrAyton and disappointment but it’s apart of the process to get better.

Part of me wishes I could press a button and just skip to the playoffs, because I truly feel, come playoff time this team will be rolling, including Ayton.

Can you say clean sweep? I knew that you could.

If we lose, I blame you!
In my defense, I had only seen the first half when I said that.

Suns turned it off and now sputtering to the finish. They deserve this, they did this themselves. This has happened so many times the last 2 years, you think they learn their lesson but they keep falling into this trap.
Apparently, not yet.

Yeah, you’re right. The Suns second half play had nothing to do with it.

No shit

Why in the world did he bench him tonight and start Crowder.? Our ball movement has been great with Frank on the court. I guess it was because he would not be able to cover their three point shooters. Well we did a shit job with whomever he did play covering their three point shooters. The Nets give up the most points in the paint of any team in the league. Good teams play to their strength. We have been strong with Kaminsky starting. Monty out foxed himself.

Booker ain't no All Star based on his performance tonight.
This BUD'S for us! - Play fast Play well - Go Suns!

That was a punch and a slap across the face.
