I don’t think there’s any reason to think we’d need to change up the team at all. If this is limited to Sarver, I can’t imagine any new owner coming in and thinking they need to tear down the infrastructure of a finals team. Monty and James Jones seem to be about as good as it gets at the moment. You’re replacing an owner that was accused of racism, sexism, and just being a jerk, then I think you want to keep around the African American leaders in the front office and in the locker room that also have an incredibly high reputation around the league of just being phenomenal human beings. Not to mention they just took the team to the finals.

I think new owners probably do often like to leave their mark on the team, but I’d hope any new owner here would understand to leave Monty and Jones alone. I don’t think it’s common that new owners take over teams that are legitimate finals contenders. Look at the jazz last year, they were sold and while the new owner is making changes, he’s left the roster and coaching staff untouched. Did Ballmer change much with the Clippers roster/FO? I don’t recall exactly when he took over, but it was somewhere in the Lob City era.

We’ll see what happens, but I think a new owner would be crazy to change much up here.

I doubt a new owner would fire the GM or especially the coach until we actually have a disappointing season again.

I think Ballmer did strip Rivers of his president title and took personnel decisions away from him, but I think that's universally seen as the right move. He brought in the logo as an advisor I believe?

Flex claims the report is being published on Tuesday, FWIW.
If the story if published on Thursday, Im looking forward to reading Flex's tweet stating that he knew the report would be delayed two days, but didn't want to undermine his sources.
So you would see this as a big own of Felix? It feels like you're missing the forest through the trees. The issue is Sarver, and it's possible that Jordan Schultz put a monkey wrench in the timing of the article coming out. If they change their decision on the timing, it's Felix's fault? Idk, man.
Oh I wouldn’t see it as an own if Flex in any way. I was just teasing how he can tend to tweet out that he knew something was coming after it comes.

I think one thing that could happen if this is worst case scenario for Sarver is that his minority partners either buys him out or they select a new managing partner.

Here is what Larry Fitzgerald said on his podcast this week:
"To be honest, I was quite surprised to hear these potential allegations. They're simply not consistent with the man I know. I've known Robert Sarver for over ten years. I don't ever recall hearing him, seeing him act in any way that's remotely consistent with the type of allegations that they're saying. He's been an amazing friend and mentor for many years. I believe that any time allegations of this nature surface, you have to take them extremely serious. They deserve a thorough investigation, for all parties. But simply based on my experience, I was completely shocked to hear it."

What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Yeah but I don't think the NFL cares as much as the NBA. Unless you know, you do little weed here and there.
