Game Day: Raptors (24-9) @ Suns (19-16), Sun 1/4/15

Post by Superbone »

Time: 6:00 pm AZ (5:00 pm PT/8:00 pm ET)
Place: US Airways Center, Phoenix, AZ
TV: FSAZ, NBALP

The Raptors are trying to prevent their first 3 game losing streak of the season. The Suns have other ideas. DeRozan is out for this one.

Go Suns!!!

Suns by 7. Len impresses with a double double, but fouls out.

I watched the Raptors loss to the Warriors. Golden State was comfortably ahead most of the game and got pretty much any shot they wanted. The Raptor defense really didn't impress me, though some of that may have just been G-State's great offense. I think these top Eastern teams are mostly a mirage and that the West is still a lot tougher and better overall. I do like the Raps this year but I think we can certainly take them if we play well.

Hopefully better than last time. Val was eating our Cs up.

I predict that Len won't be in foul trouble and will be on pace for a double double but won't get it because he will be sitting on the bench for 3/4's of the game.

He's quite a bit stronger than Len and they fed him the ball a lot early in that game. Len's going to have to be at the top of his game from the get-go. It will be interesting to see how he goes and what he learnt from last time.

The refs weren't too favorable to Len last time either. They've got to let him defend and not call ticky tack fouls. That killed any chance Len had last time.

I love when IT3 and Green come in the game. The offense stops dead in its tracks.

That crow tastes soo good as Green and IT3 extend the lead to 16. IT3 with 9 points in 3 minutes.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

After Dragic had to come back in the game and initiate the offense, sure.

1:28 left in the half and Len gets his third foul. Shabazz called it. :)
