I wish more players said stuff like this and took the fine so that actual changes would take place. Refs are human- they're tired, burnt out on travel, and deal with players/coaches barking at them and complaining to them night in and night out so I get that. But they can't let their own emotions or personal feelings affect the game.

What accountability do the refs have? The players can get thrown out, suspended, benched, fined, etc. I'm wondering what accountability happens with refs that are demonstrably biased towards a certain player or team?

The only time I remember refs getting publicly reprimanded, was Joey Crawford for his techs on Tim Duncan and Tim Donoughey haha

I'm not a Doncic fan or a fan of his play style, nor am I a fan of his antics. That being said, I thought he may have been slightly hurt or injured in the game on Sunday. I hate to give him an excuse, but it was reported that he didn't come out an hour before as usual for his own pregame work out and he wasn't there when the entire team came out for their layups and such. He was still working out in their practice court at the arena and supposedly getting treatment before the game.

I'm sure you'd see the "cupping" marks if it wasn't in his thigh .... That guy has more KT tape and cupping marks on him than guys in their late 30's playing. I'm expecting one game for him to come out completely mummified in KT tape.
