Sounds like he’d be awesome. Fully expect him to get picked up by someone else. 😭

If Portland hasn’t released him yet we should trade for him with our TPE

THIS is why I think sometimes a message board full of knowledgeable fans who care could run a team pretty well. This is a really great idea. I hope someone from the Suns have at least made a call.

Not sure what the Suns could trade. We can trade cash but we have to include something tangible like a 2nd round pick even if its top 55 protected.

Just money is fine, you don’t have to include a pick. That’s how we got Landale.

Thought had to include at least a heavily protected 2nd, maybe I was wrong.

They still hold the rights to a few foreign players, even if they aren't likely (or too old) to consider coming to the NBA.

I don't disagree with much of what you're saying. I do worry that we are placing a lot of confidence in a guy (Durant) who has proven to be even less reliable than Paul when it comes to staying on the court over the past 3 years. Sure he and Book will create their own offense but if Durant goes down at some point (inevitable) we need another option that we can go to. As Mori says, are we really going to acquire someone we can trust in those situations in a trade for Paul? I'm not so sure.
Mmmmh. I don't want to be debbie downer or something of the like, but I do believe if KD goes down come playoff time, we are probably screwed not matter what our off-season moves are :|
I still think (KDs) Health is very important for our chances of winning a championship, but I must admit the offseason might prove me wrong, as I like our moves very much.

We're one playable (i.e. not DeAndre Jordan), defensive big away from being a complete team, but that's a very minor role.

Can't really complain about how the past month has turned out if they're all in on a title in 2023-24.

2021 Playoff Roster:

1 Devin Booker
2 Deandre Ayton
3 Chris Paul
4 Jae Crowder
5 Mikal Bridges
6 Cameron Johnson
7 Cameron Payne
8 Torrey Craig
9 Dario Šarić
10 Langston Galloway
11 Frank Kaminsky
12 E'Twaun Moore
13 Abdel Nader
14 Jevon Carter
15 Jalen Smith
16 Ty-Shon Alexander

Who would have guessed that less than 2 years after our Finals run, the only players left would be Booker, Ayton, and Payne?

That’s crazy…. And compared to what our current roster is shaping up to be, I think this next seasons going to be a fun one.

I don't think it's too surprising, especially after the two playoff flameouts. There's always turnover in the league and guys like CP and Jae were older to begin win. Jae would've been a FA this summer anyway. TC was a waiver wire guy before he got steady minutes here. Mikal and Cam...when you have good young talent like that there's always a chance theyll be consolidated into a trade for a star. I was hoping we'd keep them around Book for a few more years but we got our superstar in KD. Frank, Gallo, Moore, Ty-Shon, Nader were never long term guys and we whiffed on Stix. Just the way the league goes.
