I thought Barnes was exactly what we needed when we signed him in 08 but that season was kind of lost because of the Porter hiring. We never really found our footing but he was the kind of swing who should've done well with 7SOL. Toumani reminds me of him a bit from a physical standpoint. Barnes was a better ballhandler/shooter tho.
I remember he had a brutal turnover at the end of the season that cost us a playoff spot.
Oh, man. That's right!

I just had a birthday recently and was given a Suns Barnes jersey. I was thinking, how long have you had this in your closet? They thought it would be a collectors item.
I remember one birthday where my aunt, who didn't know me very well, gave me a jersey. She said, "I heard you are a big Wildcats fan!" Except she didn't get me an Arizona Wildcats jersey. It was a bright blue *Kentucky* Wildcats jersey, the team that had just eliminated the U of A in the NCAA tournament that year. Thanks, Aunt Shelly.
LOL. Did you tell her or did you just play along and smile? I can't imagine the look on your face when you opened it. That would be a tough one to act out of. Like Daniel Day Lewis type acting.

I called her out on it, then I just went Robin Williams in Good Will Hunting. "It's not your fault..."

Haha!!! Well, it's the thought that counts, and in her defense, she gave you a winner. Haha!

Devin Booker's split with Kendall Jenner PLEASED Phoenix Suns stars as it frees team from 'Kardashian curse' and allows him to focus on his game
'Many of Devin's teammates love that he is coming into this upcoming season with more focus,' a source close to Booker told DailyMail.com.

'Devin has so much untapped potential that seemed to go by the wayside while he was dating Kendall.

[...]

'Still, he is an elite athlete, but his relationship got a bunch of his teammates and coaches up in arms because they didn't think they had his complete 100 per cent attention and potential.'
Perhaps there was more to the chemistry issues than we knew.

That is not a very good sourced article…I’m reading nothing into that. Booker has never been the type to put anything before basketball

That may end up being a collectors item, although it might be in another 70+ years.
