Spoiler: show/hide
Kai Jones has a better mixtape than Bol.
By far. Shame he can't keep it together upstairs because his talent is immense.
I'd still be rather waste on a spot on Jones than Bol.

Doc Rivers is extremely painful to listen to on commentary.

I do remember SGA being traded to the Clippers but I forgot which team it was and what he got traded for. It turned out being disastrous for the Hornets, and it is ironic looking back and realizing Miles Bridges was described as a high character player at the time. The Clippers took an L trading SGA for Paul George as well if you ask me.

Ultimately yes they took the L(unless they win a title this year or next) but at the time they had to do it. It got them PG and Kawhi

They had the wrong Bridges. IOW, they had their Bridges crossed.

I like Camara but it's a huge reach to say he's going to be a high quality starter right away.

I know quite a few on here waiting to get to watch Beal on a regular basis but outside of the stats don't really know his game cause who was really watching the Wiz often huh lol
Luv his game tho and I've posted compilations and am really happy we have him

Obviously the contracts are always what makes these discussions interesting but Jimmy n Bam are not high usage players so I think Beal as a 3rd piece would have been a great fit for them too but is what it is
Herro has talent no doubt so will see how it goes

He might be a decent starter one day, but he's not anywhere near the pedigree of Kessler, who was a top recruit and a McD all American who went to UNC before Auburn. C'mon now.

Exactly.

Kessler is pretty easily the best player, and certainly the best value, in that trade. Yet Camara is somehow going to outshine Lillard, Holiday, and Ayton when we look back at the deal in a year? Ridiculous.

The Beal-Heat stuff is interesting because of the timing of things. He asked out a few weeks before Dame and I didn't think the Heat would make a move because they were saving assets for Dame or Giannis. Sure enough Dame asked to go to the Heat a few weeks later so it almost worked out for them but I wonder if the situations were switched and the Dame stuff happened first if the Heat would've tried at all for Beal. They talk about his age and salary but he's younger than Dame and makes a bit less money overall. He's not the same level player as Dame but he's no slouch either. It might be moot because Beal had the no-trade clause but the Heat could've made a competitive offer if the Wiz wanted Herro. And to say he's not so much better than Herro sounds like the Heat trying to save some face with Herro thru the media.

Yeah, that leak seems like total sour grapes to me. They went all-in on Dame and didn't get him, now they're trying to save face. I wonder if Herro is pissed or will be a good soldier for them?

Ugh. Nuggets will miss Bruce Brown but perhaps not as much as originally thought.

I expect the Nuggets to be better this year, as their young guys will be better. It helps having the continuity going forward also.
