Re: NBA TRADE DEADLINE 2024
A few quick takes:
Danuel House Jr.: A decent scorer. An OK end of the bench guy.
Killian Hayes: Passes well. Can play some defense. Shot needs considerable work. A fresh start after the mess that is the Pistons might help him.
Otto Porter Jr.: He might be toast. Went downhill after his stint with the Warriors.
Danilo Gallinari: Great scorer. A cipher on defense. Injury prone.
Thad Young: Old, but crafty. A good vet for the bench and clubhouse in playoffs.
Jock Landale: Already kicked the tires on this one.
Bismack Biyombo: Solid on defense. Offense is limited to converting loose dunkers.
Cedi Osman: Not familiar with his game, but I know he has some fans on this site.
Seth Curry: Already have a limited D gunner in Gordon.
Richaun Holmes: Has had some personal issues. Had a good run awhile back with the Suns, but seems to be on a bit of a slide.
Delon Wright: Combo guard. Not terrible, but not sure what he would provide Suns.
Mike Muscala: Four teams in two years is not a good sign. Can shoot from deep, but doesn't move the needle on defense or rebounding.

Methinks not. But probably should have listed him along with some of the other Bantha fodder ...

Re: NBA TRADE DEADLINE 2024
Thad is the only one that seems to provide a skill we might use in the playoffs. He can play the Nurk role on offense while being more versatile on defense. Admittedly I don’t know if the defense is still there, but he’s a big wing that could conceivably play small ball 5 alongside KD. Thad doesn’t shoot, but he has been a switchable defender and he can play the connector 5 role on offense.
Everyone else just kinda seems like a regular season guy. We’ve got 7 playoff rotation spots locked up. Eubanks and Bol are in the lead for that 8th spot right now. Thad just gives you another option.

Is he worse than Landale?LazarusLong wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2024 11:38 amMethinks not. But probably should have listed him along with some of the other Bantha fodder ...

RoLo is stronger and bigger, Landale is quicker and has the makings of an outside shot.
But neither are especially enticing.

Re: NBA TRADE DEADLINE 2024
I recommend taking a peak at Robin Lopez stats this year.. he’s been absolutely atrocious. He’s not an nba player anymore, yet alone one we should be talking about as a piece for us. He was only in the league because of his brother. I don’t think any team is picking him up. He would have by far the lowest TS% on the team and somehow also the 2nd lowest rebound rate on the team. .1 better than Eric Gordon

When the Suns played the Bucks and he was in for his brother (Brook out on personal bizz), he did look remarkably unspectacular...

He's washed. He was a plodder when we drafted him.

Muscala is starting, I don’t think he’s being waived

Re: NBA TRADE DEADLINE 2024
I'd give Killian a look just for his Assists and ball control (A:T looks solid.) We don't need the scoring, more a little D and some shot creation...he'd give a different look that might prove useful.

Re: NBA TRADE DEADLINE 2024
I wouldn’t mind giving Killian a look, but I wouldn’t expect anything from him this season. Could be an interesting development project though. Doubt he’d want to do that. He’s probably looking for an opportunity to play.
Re: NBA TRADE DEADLINE 2024
French reporters think the best for him might be to take the Dante Exum road : goind (back) to Europe to get playing time and eventually back in a year or two as a more seasonned player.

Needs to find someone who can fix his shot
