I like sending him to Sacramento and getting back a package that includes Nik Stauskas.
does sacramento have any expiring or awful contracts that they can package for goran?
I like sending him to Houston and getting a package that includes Nick Johnson, Clint Capela, and the New Orleans pick.
why would they give up so much? unless they are confident they can keep him for good.
I would also do this:

Phoenix receives: Roy Hibbert, Lavoy Allen, Chris Copeland, and a 1st round pick
why would the suns want roy hibbert?
Indiana receives: Goran Dragic, Zoran Dragic, Miles Plumlee, and PJ Tucker
indiana will do this just to unload hibbert's contract. renting dragic is icing on the cake.

which teams are like indiana, willing to unload "bad" contracts to rent dragic? (altho what may be a garbage contract for them may be gold for the suns.)

Even if we don't get equal value back, if we get players that balance the roster, everyone will breathe easier.

INF: I'd do that Indiana trade. I still like Hibbert and think he wouldn't be redundant with Len. They could both play for stretches and it'd give Len time to grow as a player. And Hibbert is also potentially an "asset".

Would you do a deal that sent the two Dragic brothers to the LA Lakers for something like:

- Steve Nash's expiring corpse;
- Ed Davis;
- removing the protection on their 1st rounder that they owe us?

Getting Hibbert back is a bad move, no matter how you spin it. I'd do the Lakers deal. If you can get the restrictions removed, that would be pretty good. I'd also love to see if they could get the NO pick in another deal.

I don't know why but that just doesn't seem to be enough for me.

Ya never know...if that can help persuade Kevin Love to sign there in the off-season that will help expedite rebuilding.

I'm probably in the minority here but if they also took Tucker I would. I think that pick is the suns best shot of landing a star/superstar. I'd go all in for it.

Then it's Gogi's job to lift them out of the bottom five. That means making up 5.5 games on the current #6, Sacramento. Doable?

@SportsWhispers: #Lakers offered a trade for Dragic last week. #Suns countered by saying they'd do that specific deal for Isiah Thomas, not Dragic

Any deal with the Lakers should include Randle. If they take Thomas, i'll settle for Davis or Hill.

BTW, I think the "list" is bogus too. Its just the agent's way of opening the free agent market early. Both LA and NYK have free agent money. He knows they don't have the trade assets. He wants them thinking about Dragic for the next 4 months.

No I think he wants to go there and wants them to get his bird rights so he can get more money from them this summer.
