I never realized how loose his (KD) handle was. This roster just exacerbates all these guys’ worst qualities by:

1. Lacking a floor general
2. Lacking size/grit/toughness
3. Lacking vocal leadership

We’re going to be stuck with this roster going in 2025. I don’t see a way to improve this team unless you can figure out how to acquire:

1. A floor general point guard with defensive prowess
2. A true power forward

KD is not a 4, and cannot play without a PG. We cannot start 3 combo guards with KD as a 4.

As insane as it sounds, Lebron would actually be the perfect fit to fix our issues. Without other avenues to improve this roster, might as well draft Bronny to see if Dad will play for a vet minimum.

And I apologize to you, flagrant, I think Durant is your favorite overall player? And I suppose he may legitimately be the most talented Phoenix Sun ever, but give me barkley, at least 1993 Charles Barkley, 10 out of 10 times

100%…. KD WAS a great player…. His effort this season is horrendous and couldn’t be more disappointed in the return in a trade. We gave up a future for a guy who’s supposed to bring us to the promise land and this is what we got? Barkley had an intense fire and desire to win that was contagious. What’s KD’s fire?

Talented as in career wise?

Because the Suns iteration of KD is a step above VInce Carter in terms of actual meaningful impact. He gets his points but has zero overall impact on our teams success

Yeah. Color me unimpressed with the version of KD we have. At least we knew Vince was cooked and we didn’t give up much for him. KD has been a complete disappointment, there’s been very little impact left by the slim sleeper, except a negative one left on our once beloved Sun (Booker).

Just think it's a different team with a PG. Even Brogdon which was a travesty thT he stayed in Portland, would have made a difference. Even Cam Payne would have helped. This team expends too much energy creating shots.

We need to go 5 out with the shot creators we have. They need more space. The offense works when we go small. Attaching our 2024 1st to Nurk for a stretch 5 on draft night would help. I don’t know if there is a stretch 5 in the draft.
