Plus Beal would say no.

Regarding Nurk, not sure the answer other than ditching his ass and hope you can get a decent Center in the draft. But hope ain’t a plan.

The center position is gonna be a tough one to figure out.

I'm curious why you think he'd say no.

Beal might say yes to a lot more trade options than you expect if Vogel is still coaching.

No chance in hell Atlanta would make that deal because they could do much better than Bradley Beal for Murray and Capela.

And they should be skeptical of pairing Beal with Trae Young.
Oh I know…especially since Dejounte finished strong after the trade deadline passed and Capela is expiring next year now…if they still had Collins you could maybe make a trade happen.

Few Nurk ideas. Not sure what his trade value is right now. Earlier in the season it was probably pretty good but after the last few weeks, probably not great. Lol Most of these will leave a big question mark at the center position but it will let us move on from Nurk.

Pipe dream?

Nurk for Mitchell Robinson.

Why: Mitchell Robinson is always fuckin hurt and seems to be emo with his feelings on his offensive role. Robinson would be the perfect big for us, while Nurk would be a solid big man to back up Hartenstein.

More realistic

Nurk for Brandon Clarke

Why: Clarke is always fuckin hurt, and Nurk would be a solid big guy to start next to JJJ. Clarke is an ideal 4 next to KD, a lob threat and a solid defensive player that can guard multiple positions.

Nurk for Harrison Barnes

Why: Nurk backing up Sabonis would maybe the best center rotation in the league, maybe not defensively but offensively? Woah, momma. Barnes could start or be a great 6th man for us.

In reality our only hope at contending next year is we have to pull off a miracle…

Like sign LeBron James for the minimum or some other vet min signing turns out to be a stud…like we sign Fultz and he somehow remembers how to shoot and becomes an all-star.

Or we draft someone at 22 that becomes exactly who we need. I don’t see any avenue trading Beal, KD, or Book that we are a contender next year.

We’ve got to make some moves around the margins, absolutely nail our vet min signings, nail the draft, nail the coaching hire, and hope the big 3 settles more into the right roles/system.

There is something to be said for teams not always working well year 1…Minny had this exact same team last year and struggled mightily out the gate. The first LeBron in Miami year was rough(compared to years 2 and 3, they did still make the finals).

But also how much longer can KD play at this level? He already seems to be slowing…he’s not the guy that almost beat Milwaukee by himself in 2021.

We really just need Book and KD to talk LeBron into giving up his entire salary for the chance to play for one more title.

But I’ll settle for a team that at least looks like they care and can win a round. I no longer expect to see a contender over the next 4-5 years. It’ll be awhile.

I just wish Nurk had one less year on that deal. If he was expiring we could move him much easier.

To Atlanta? I think they’re gonna blow it all up. We might too but I’d rather an another chance at making it work with Book and KD for one more year than going to Atlanta, possibly uprooting your family again or being away from them for a random year.

Everyone on the roster kept doing this kind of overpassing all season. Unselfish to a flaw. So bizarre. It was only fitting that the same thing basically ended the season.

Sorry break the new but no one is trading for Bradley Beal. If we do find a sucker be prepared to hold your nose when you find out what we get in return.

The best choice is to keep him while hiring a new head coach that has a legit plan to make it work, with the BIG THREE.

The biggest issue is and has been rebounding. Maybe we can get someone in the draft or trade Nurkic. If we do trade Nurkic I doubt the return will be very good either. NOT GOOD

So disappointing.
We went through years of pain, grew booker organically and had some nice pieces in CJ, DA and MB ... CP3 came here and we started to look like a team.
One failed campaign and we blow it all up for aging superstars, lost all our joy and any 'potential' .. WYSIWYG

Nurk is the only one on the team who actually rebounds, so this really doesn;t address that problem.

Of the many frustrating things about this season, this is the most frustrating. It was a tendency at the beginning of the season and stayed with us 'til the end. How was this not addressed? How was this not fixed? Just shoot the effing ball. If someone put up a banner saying "Shoot Friend and Win" our guys would keep passing the ball around waiting for someone to guess the password. Beal probably does know the word for "shoot" in Elvish, though.

Watch the wolves rotating there. That's a team that gets it and wants it and is bought in. Our guys were lazy and dumb most of the year.

Our defense was putrid all year. We didn't have the most basic sense of what to do on that end of the floor.

BTW, when is somebody going to make a supercut of all the Beal fuck-ups from Game 4? You could make a lengthy montage of clips like this one:

Yeah, that was horrible. Beal should have shot it.

Come on now. KD has got to be paying attention as well. That wasn't just a Beal issue. That was a team communication and awareness issue.

What the Suns did in game four they should have been doing the entire series. They played with pace, they pushed tempo, and got some easy fast break points. That's what I'd been waiting for the whole series. Suns played to the T'Wolves strength in Minnesota by playing the slowdown half court game.

Anthony Edwards was hot and played great. It was too little too late for the Phoenix Suns.
