I think there's plenty of good stuff there, most notably putting the '20-21 team together by getting CP3 and Jae Crowder. But then it's coupled with the travesty of drafting Stix over Haliburton.

Most of the worst of the last few years of GMing comes when we hit the KD trade. That's when we begin to mortgage a decade of our team's future for magic beans and give away everyone who had a connection to this franchise. And I don't blame that on James Jones; it is well known that he didn't want to make the KD trade as proposed, but Ishbia overruled him to do it.

Look, a lot of us thought Yuta and KBD and Eubanks and perhaps Little were significant bench upgrades from years prior. It still boggles the mind that they didn’t pan out. It might be coaching and lack of essential PG that couldn’t integrate other players. I just hope there is some GM or head coach candidate who is licking their chops to fix this.

Stephen A is just piggybacking off that and telling the fans what they want to hear. if we don't get it right soon tho, this will only get louder; the Knicks have the work team we used to have and coach who lives on preparation and details. Everything fits Book perfectly. I would try and rope-a-dope the Knicks and see if they'd take KD for Randle.

I don't think I would do KD for Randle. Randle is a worse player, and it would make Book mad, so I think it'd be a step back for us. I would only want to trade KD if we got a much younger star with potential, and/or a bunch of picks. Preferably the latter.

KD for Randle is not something I would do. Now KD for Brunson I would do. I know you're not supposed to trade a big for a small but I'd do that. Little dude is a winner and would pair nicely with Book.
