Pretty amazing that Scoot Henderson didn't make either of the All-Rookie teams. That's a huge whiff on a high draft pick by Portland. Between that and their underwhelming acquisition of max-salary DA, and the loss of the best player in franchise history for a questionable return, they had a rough offseason.

Scoot had a disappointing season, but he can still be great.

Yeah, I don't think he was a bad pick at all. He was injured on a weird team and it always takes longer for Point Guards to figure it out.

I think any team in the league would be happy with him on their roster for the third pick in last year's draft.

It is confirmed. Next season will be the last for Inside the NBA.

I will not miss it tbh. Does this mean Tuesday and Thursday are gonna be on NBC? I hope they hire some actual analysts.

Yea it had its moments over the years but definitely feels like a good time to wrap it up.

Its amazing that Durant got so many more votes that Booker. They were basically the same player. Name recognition helps I guess.

Durant was vastly superior on the defensive end.

Durant was much better than Booker.

Inside the NBA will only end in name on TNT. There will be a new iteration of it somewhere, Barkley and Kenny aren't going to just disappear.

So we had 2 of the best 15 players in the league this year and flamed out in the first round? Not ideal.

Mostly because our 4th-10th players were either injured or not very good in the playoffs.

Exactly. It is hard to see internal improvement in that 4-10 group or a realistic way to improve that with new players, especially given the likely improvement elsewhere in the west.

Well, having Allen back will help, but I pretty much agree that I don't expect improvement from the others, except perhaps Bol. Gordon, Okogie, Eubanks and O'Neale are what they are.

IMO Bickerstaff gets kind of a raw deal there. What exactly did the Cavs expect? They had a great season by any reasonable measure. Nobody was picking them to go to the Finals or anything, and they had injuries in their playoff series.

Was thinking the same. Not that he's some great coach but it was said there was an organizational decision to sit players at the end of the year for playoff seeding which wasn't received well by the players. Then it seemed like they quit on him on the playoffs by sitting out some games. I do think there's something to the Mitchell-Garland stuff and generally, the roster is built more for the regular season than the playoffs but that shouldn't fall on him.
