You're seriously bitching that we "wasted" time on LMA and lost out on Ed Davis and Brandon Wright??

One player can be the cornerstone of a championship team, the other two are 7th men at best.

We need a superstar on this team. Suns did good. Hope LMA nothing but the worst in SA and he's my new #1 enemy

I honestly doubt Aldridge knew all along he was signing in SA. They prob were the favs, The Suns made him re-think and ultimately he decided on the Spurs.

“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

I think the Suns did well to go from an absolute long shot to right in the race. Sure it didn't get us anywhere but it's good to know that front office can put together a decent plan/presentation and hopefully it nets us something worthwhile down the track.

Now what?

http://www.azcentral.com/story/sports/n ... /29715099/
The Suns do have roster balance now with the 11 players soon to be under contract – Eric Bledsoe and Brandon Knight at point guard, Archie Goodwin and Devin Booker at shooting guard with Jerel McNeal (non-guaranteed), P.J. Tucker and T.J. Warren at small forward, Markieff Morris and Jon Leuer at power forward and Chandler and Len at center. It is not a mix that would have many predicting much of a rise in the West after last season's 10th-place finish and expected improvement from the teams around them (San Antonio, Dallas, Oklahoma City, New Orleans and Utah).

Sour grapes. That's OK, I'll bite now that he's spurned us as well (pun intended).

Yea I don't like what Quick is writing now about Aldridge, also posted an article from a few years ago about Aldridge and Roy not hitting it off right away. Poor form dogging him out and after he's leaves you.

What he does offer in those areas is stellar, but you're overrating what it can do for a team that's still a basketball mess.

He's just feeding the locals what they want to hear. Blazers fans in Portland are borderline manic over the smallest BS most of the time. Can't really blame them with only one major team in the market until recently.

There's really no need for them to be upset. The team had reached it's ceiling. They finally got rid of chronic overachiever Nicolas Batum. They picked up Mason Plumlee and Noah Vonleh. And they have loads of cap space. I like what they've done. I have my doubts about Lillard, but they could do worse.

EDIT: I'm not a fan of them signing Al Farouq Aminu. Wasted money IMHO.
