Re: Suns News: Week 11 1/4-1/10
I've watched a handful of NCAA games so far and Simmons is obviously the best prospect. Duke a couple of times, Kentucky... at this moment I am liking Skal Labissiere better than Ingram. Ingram seems pretty slow on his feet. Grayson Allen is projected around late lotto but could have a hard time adapting to the next level of athleticism.
Want to grab some UCLA and Providence to see Brown-Rabb, and they say Dunn is the shit which from highlights looks like it has basis.

I like Buddy Hield quite a bit. I think he'll end up being a Jimmy Butler type player.

Cap, sarcasm aside, it's a legit question/frustration.
I think we can let this one slide.

Not sure what you're getting at. Are you saying being a Suns fan is like crawling through five hundred yards of shit smelling foulness you can't even imagine?Aztec Sunsfan wrote:Are you familiar with Andy Dufresne?Shabazz wrote:Should I up it to twice a day?

Note....January 15th is also the date that FAs who signed extensions last summer (such as Knight/Brewer etc) can begin to get traded. So if we waited til Jan 15th to finally trade Kieff and then get screwed by this court hearing, Imma be mad.
Re: Suns News: Week 11 1/4-1/10
Their court thing is taking forever. Do we have any lawyers on the board? What is a special action?

A special action is a way that either a defendant or the State can have a decision of a lower court reviewed in Superior Court. It gives the case a measure of flexibility on which court and when an action/case can be heard.
Window is open again ... blue skies ahead?

Would they just get this thing over already. The justice system in this country is so screwed up slow.

If they're convicted of anything and have to serve time, could we technically void the contract?
Re: Suns News: Week 11 1/4-1/10
With the way things are going for us, do you really think we would be that lucky?ShelC wrote:If they're convicted of anything and have to serve time, could we technically void the contract?
Re: Suns News: Week 11 1/4-1/10
In the unlikely event they have to serve time, they will be able to serve it during the off-season. There's plenty of precedent for that. So the incarceration itself won't be relevant.ShelC wrote:If they're convicted of anything and have to serve time, could we technically void the contract?
It's possible that a felony conviction would run them a fouls of the moral turpitude clause; I'm not sure how that's defined.
Re: Suns News: Week 11 1/4-1/10
Are you really worried about voiding the contract though? If that's the case just wait till the summer and trade him basically anywhere for a future 2nd. Unless you just want to punish him? If you just want out of the contract that can be done easily enough I think.
