They are saying the Lakers (and I guess the league in general) could look at Festus Ezeli for 3/50 or 16'6M per. Turns 27 in october and fairly injury prone (78-46-46 games). If true, we have our first candidate for the annual Jim McIlvaine award. 7 points, 6 rebounds and quality rim protection but under 17mpg.

I think Festus could Ezili make more money than that!

Oh, man, Mori. Look what you've done! Save some Festus for the rest of us.

Well met, old chaps. Some of those puns were a little bit bogut, and it really barnes to hear such bad jokes. But life isn't worth livingston if you can't have a laugh. Some don't like them, but we all try to make do (mcadoo). If I had an iguo dala for every time I heard a dumb joke, I'd ezeli have enough to buy a mansion! ... Ian Clark.

Thank God.
According to Dave King, Babby has been barely involved since last June. Those of you hoping to scapegoat anything on ol' Lon (not that any of you are, but I've read it elsewhere) should have your hot take canon aimed at McDonough instead.

Right, so we should forgive the jagoff for all the damage he's done to the Suns while he happily schleps into retirement.
Easily one of the worst executives in the history of the franchise.

I didn't say that. My point is that you can't blame this entire mess on Lon. Most of our current situation is on McDonough.

If by most, you mean last season (IT, Dragic, Knight) and the process of hiring Watson, I would agree. The only other "mess" I see is Bledsoe, but I think that was a mix. Oh, and the dedication to a 2 PG lineup. I really hope that dies...

I don't think Lon was behind the 2 point guard line-up? Do you? The Bledsoe signing is the very definition of a mixed bag. If he'd stop missing half the season every other year I'd actually be pro-Bledsoe right now. On paper he seems to be a good compliment to Booker. Each player excelling where the other does not. I think we can easily run the offense through Booker during crunch time next year thus eliminating Bledsoe's biggest weakness entirely. Knight otoh, I have no idea what to do with as a Sun. His recent comments seem to suggest he won't accept a bench role. There has to be at least one team out there that is desperate for a PG (Utah?)

It would be interesting to build a recap of the players, coaches and managers that Sarver inherited when he bought this team and see what has happened to them since he either whacked them or traded them. I expect we will find that most have done well in their new environments.

As I remember Babby was going to be our savior, according to Bob. Savior is too strong of a word but was he even competent? That was Bob's hire.

That really confuses me. I thought that was Hornacek's doing but maybe it is McDonough? I guess we'll find out going forward if we stick with it or not.

Has anyone ever asked McDonough if he considers Knight to be a competent PG?

Wow! Pretty wild. Lesson to be learned. If the locals tell you that you probably shouldn't go out in the ocean that day, don't.

Len has more moxie and spine than for which I gave him credit.
All I can say is "wow"

If I were his coach, I'd use that to his advantage.
