This was Josh Jackson’s fault somehow

Is it? It’s summer league. A bunch of rookies, bench warmers and players who might never play a NBA game had an off game and lost to other rookies, bench warmers and players who might never play a NBA game by 2pts.Cap wrote: ↑Thu Jul 12, 2018 6:01 pmNo, but it is embarrassing. The Bobster wrote: ↑Thu Jul 12, 2018 5:51 pmOh my gawd!

Yeah it’s not that embarrassing. I’m more worried if Okobo is okay
Re: Game Day (Summer League): 76ers (0-3) @ Suns (3-0), Thurs 7/12/18
Perhaps we missed Josh Jackson on defense today
Re: Game Day (Summer League): 76ers (0-3) @ Suns (3-0), Thurs 7/12/18
Down the stretch Harrison clearly got fouled on a drive in the open floor and made the basket. The defender gave him a push with both hands right in front of the ref that wasn't called. Should've been an easy and-1.
We didn't deserve to win, no one really showed up. Shaq played well again defensively but we relied on him too much offensively. Reed was the only other one who can create his own shot it seemed. I still think it's a mistake if we get rid of him because of his ability to handle the ball and break down a defense. Bridges hasn't really shown much in that area, Jackson's iffy once he breaks down the D. I also thought we should've made more of a concerted effort to get Ayton and/or Bender the ball in the post more. Problem is our guys use the worst angles to throw entry passes.
Like everyone else said, we cruised thru this one and didn't deserve to win. Whatever. Would've been nice to see Ayton or Bridges get fired up and take control at some point. Ayton could learn to be more assertive/dominant.

Yep, we looked bored and had none of the defensive intensity from before. The team figured they could sleep walk through the 30th seed.specialsauce wrote: ↑Thu Jul 12, 2018 4:24 pmI think Ayton got up to play against Bamba. They look like they are over summer league

I hope Ayton n Bridges stay in cause I want to see how they respond especially Ayton who hasn't made an impact so far

Play their last game tomorrow at 3:30 on NBA TV against the Spurs. What a letdown.Wally_West wrote: ↑Thu Jul 12, 2018 5:06 pmDo the Suns play another summer league game if they lose? Or would they be done?

Only thing I am upset about is that the Suns could have used a few more games. Dragan is just getting into the groove.
Hope Okobo is ok.

Nobody gives a **** if they had lost in the last 3 games which were all regular summer league games.
But this is playoffs so now instead of getting 4 more games we get one consolation game in the loser’s bracket.

76ers were the worst ranked summer league (30th) while the Suns were the 3rd.Wally_West wrote: ↑Thu Jul 12, 2018 6:35 pmIs it? It’s summer league. That should give Ayton some more needed time to work on his shoe contracts.Superbone wrote: ↑Thu Jul 12, 2018 10:10 pmPlay their last game tomorrow at 3:30 on NBA TV against the Spurs. Doncic had as much impact for Dallas tonight as Ayton did for us.

So many frustrating things on that final play.
1. The no call for Smith's foul on Bridges.
2. Bridges should have stayed at the three point line and let Shaq drive it to the hoop like he had been doing.
3. Shaq should have dumped it off behind him to Ayton, who was in great position to dunk it to send the game to overtime.
At least we don't have a bunch more games increasing our chances of injuries.

Funny, people said this when I called Chriss being a bust within a month of regular season....
People don't like the ugly truth but doesn't change it from still being the truth.

Bridges played really well and he seems to have an extremely high basketball IQ as well already as a rookie.
