Agreed, they need shooting and some defense but I also forgot they have Wilson Chandler to work back into the mix.

What salary ballast would we take back?In2ition wrote: ↑Sat Nov 17, 2018 9:49 amIf it's anyone, I think it would be Ariza that goes to Philly for Fultz.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote: ↑Sat Nov 17, 2018 9:11 amI really hope we don't trade Josh Jackson for Fultz. Jackson at least has some of the bones of a good NBA player. I could picture him becoming good in a few years, or at least becoming valuable enough to trade to another team. Fultz, no way. He'll be out of the league in a year and a half, guaranteed.
That's the thing with all this talk about trading Ariza. Who is gonna trade for him without us having to take on salary that extends beyond this season? For example, I don't think Houston even has that type of expiring contract to make it work.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote: ↑Sat Nov 17, 2018 2:39 pmWhat salary ballast would we take back?In2ition wrote: ↑Sat Nov 17, 2018 9:49 amIf it's anyone, I think it would be Ariza that goes to Philly for Fultz.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote: ↑Sat Nov 17, 2018 9:11 amI really hope we don't trade Josh Jackson for Fultz. Ariza's salary would be an asset in a bigger trade for a better player--maybe someone like Kemba or Lillard. I am not saying we could pull that off, just saying that is the situation in which he would be useful. The primary assets being traded in that scenario would be picks. Ariza just helps salaries to balance.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote: ↑Sat Nov 17, 2018 4:03 pmI just don't think Ariza is going to be a trade asset. The way these things work is that the player holds out and asks for a buyout. Then we buy him out for, say, 2/3 or 1/2 of his salary to go away, then the next day he signs with the Lakers or 76ers or whomever. Tyson Chicken is a good example of this. Nobody was calling to offer us any assets for him; they just waited us out until we let him go.
With Philly we could do wilson Chandler as the main salary coming back...he's expiring.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote: ↑Sat Nov 17, 2018 2:39 pmWhat salary ballast would we take back?In2ition wrote: ↑Sat Nov 17, 2018 9:49 amIf it's anyone, I think it would be Ariza that goes to Philly for Fultz.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote: ↑Sat Nov 17, 2018 9:11 amI really hope we don't trade Josh Jackson for Fultz. Houston isn't a viable trade option unless we take back salary in 2019
Let's do it! Do you have Sarver's number?Shabazz wrote: ↑Sun Nov 18, 2018 1:50 amWhat about to Indiana for Tyreke?Split T wrote: ↑Sat Nov 17, 2018 6:57 pmWith Philly we could do wilson Chandler as the main salary coming back...he's expiring.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote: ↑Sat Nov 17, 2018 2:39 pmWhat salary ballast would we take back?In2ition wrote: ↑Sat Nov 17, 2018 9:49 amIf it's anyone, I think it would be Ariza that goes to Philly for Fultz.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote: ↑Sat Nov 17, 2018 9:11 amI really hope we don't trade Josh Jackson for Fultz. Meanwhile, Trae Young is really struggling and the Hawks have got to be second guessing that trade.

Sarver literally watched the Suns not have a center for 50 years. There was zero chance they were picking anyone else.TheOriginalOriginal wrote: ↑Mon Nov 19, 2018 1:50 amTo be fair, everyone, including us, will be second guessing not taking Doncic. Especially in the short term. For a guy who drafted Bender and double Bogdan to pass on Doncic after hiring his national team coach still puzzles me.
