Seems like a lot of overreacting this offseason to the Lakers winning the title with two bigs. Do people forget they basically sat Howard and McGee in the finals? Watch all these teams add these extra bigs and have LA win the title again playing AD at the 5

I can't remember a time when he was actually a meaningful player. Maybe his first couple of years in Houston? No offense to him, but he is a waste of a roster spot.

Ya I don’t even really want DJ, I’d take him at the BAE, but 20 million for 2 years for a 33 year old 5’11 backup pg who shot under 40% last year? Even in a vacuum I might take Payne over DJ.

They trying to make sure they are bad the next few years. Better chances at Cade Cunningham, Jalen Green, Emoni Bates.

Question, Will Detroit shoot under 30% from 3 next year? Do they have a single shooter on that roster? I guess they drafted Saddiq Bey
Re: Free Agency Thread
I don't know why I didn't realize he was raised in Detroit. I saw he was born in California and went to high school there...

Galli to the hawks for 20M/year over 3 years.

That’s a big deal, I was intrigued by Gallo, but glad we’re not paying him 20 million a year the next 3 years
Re: Free Agency Thread
Absolutely unbelievable. The Detroit Pistons continue their center signing spree, agreeing to deals with free agents Mason Plumlee and Jahil Okafor, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports, after already acquiring Dewayne Dedmon, Tony Bradley and Isaiah Stewart

That’s a lot for Hood after an Achilles injury. 2nd year isn’t gauranteed though.

There's a lot of crazy money being thrown around. So much for the theory the pandemic would temper contracts.

Typical Dwight Howard announcing he's back with the Lakers where he belongs and then agreeing to sign with the 76ers less than an hour later.

That’s what I’m thinking. Here I was thinking we could get Millsap with the MLE and Burks with the BAE. At this rate we might have to spend the full MLE on Burks or Holliday if we want them.
