Missed the game but saw the replay of curry’s game winner…my question is why wasn’t he double teamed? He’s the one guy you can’t let catch the ball there
Even if they weren’t going to double, Durant needed to stick to him, and if Beal was going to switch onto him he needed to get right in front of him not go for the steal.

Better yet, Brad shouldve just stayed in front of him instead of gone for the steal.
Beat me to it. :D

i thought a foul before an inbound was caught was free throws, but i guess i was wrong
A foul before an inbound pass is touched also doesn’t take any time off the clock. Somehow, the refs decided the ball was touched before the foul.

Losing the non Steph minutes is probably going to be a big reason why we lost this game
Or Curry heroics. I wish we had put O’Neale on him. Or Beal had full out sprint and stolen that pass.

It was the way too easy rebound for Curry after Beal's missed 3 that kills me.

All KD had to do was run it and contest the rebound. Just tip it away and the game is over.
Yeah. He just watched it. One of a few things you could lament about those last few minutes.

Having O’Neale in those late game small lineups instead of EG will be a welcome change.

Really annoyed at this game. Might be making too much of it but I'm tired of seeing the same things over and over and the players and media acting like it's fine and we'll get past it. I can deal with missed shots but it just feels like there's a lack of hustle with this team, guys are too nonchalant during the game and KD watching that rebound instead of crashing is the perfect example. I really like Nurk but he's not good enough to play games like Dray - turning his back and daring guys to shoot and then getting scored on, always wanting the foul inside that he knows he's not going to get. KD is still taking bad pullups in transition while he's covered.

Our offense sucks late in games and we still can't beat a double team. We have Book, Beal and KD - the logic was "well, they can't double everyone. One of those guys will be left open and make the other team pay". Hasn't happened because we have no counters. Felt like the Warriors were triple teaming guys but no one else was open. Then we're having the same breakdowns on defense giving up lobs and layups because of late/no rotations or miscommunication. Everything was hard for us, the 2nd unit is still a mess. Probably overreacting but at this rate we'll be lucky to win a playoff series.

I'm not as upset about this loss, but I largely see it the same way which is why I've started to concede winning a title in my mind. I think it's acceptable to believe who the Suns really are when they give us the evidence so often. They're a really good flawed team who'll need some considerable breaks to make it across the finish line. The most frustrating part is their biggest flaws have little to do with skill or talent.

However, I'm still holding out a little hope when it comes to the rotation. I think it was pretty well known the roster would get a shake up fairly early in the season and the front office has done well to boost the back end of the rotation. The early injuries were a major detriment, but everything else has been flat. It's put up or shut up time to close the season now that everyone knows there are no significant roster moves left on the table.

KD will have his moments, but we're still going to live and die with our best player being a 6'5" shooting guard and lack the ability to reliably string together defensive stops.

I don't understand why Bol wasn't guarding the inbounds

It was an entertaining game that they barely lost and to a team who was home and healthy that really wanted to beat us. It could have gone either way at the end. The Suns are a work in progress and they are figuring things out as they go. They obviously have more work to do.

I’m have my doubts Greene can make it the rest of the season without getting suspended again.

I kind of cringe when Okogie shoots threes. He’s been off for awhile but played well last night. As much as a non shooter he, is I noticed he tends to make a lot of really difficult off balance shots near the basket.

Yeah, bottom line is there is no excuse for allowing Curry to get a clean three pointer off. None. You can allow anybody else on the Warriors to take that last shot but Curry. Inexcusable. Also, like others have said, if Durant had pursued the previous rebound, maybe it doesn't even come to that.

I think that would have been the right call with 1 second left, but with 3 seconds left you’re leaving him on the perimeter when the inbounder can get a clean pass back and an open lane to the rim.
