I'd better clarify, then.

Booker is going to have a very good year this year.
In the West, he might not make the allstart game because of how stacked it is. But his season will be so good that he might make it in anyway.
His season will be so good that it will be as good as any guard in the East.
You are saying the coaches will put him on the team as a reserve over the other guards in the West?
I'm saying he will get some votes from coaches. If someone slips a bit, then he will get enough votes. He will be in the Klay, Chris Paul, Damian Lillard tier of guards next season.
So he'll make an All NBA team then? Whoa.
I do expect that within the next 3-4 years, but not this coming one. Would be wonderful for us, though.
With this kid, you never know. He's full of surprises.

Meanwhile I'm not quite ballsy enough to say that Booker will be an allstar. But he will be one of the top 8 guards in the NBA for sure. 26 points/ 4.5 assists.
Villains? I was making a joke. Nothing wrong with hearing perspectives from all sides.
I gotcha. Just laughing at you guys giving them shit. :D

I didn't say it was funny, ha ha. Just some regular ol' ball busting. No rankings needed. (Especially if you're the butt of the joke. ;))
But I'll give you a 3/10 for that ranking. :P

Pretty sure that is not how law of averages work... But optimists always see realists as pessimists. But I am an engineer. I hope for the best, expect what the data/past performance has shown, and prepare for the worst.
Im an academic--I dont know if that makes me a pessamist, realist, or optimist. Generally, I think it means that I make poor life choices. :D

Wouldn't be an offseason if the old ass debate about pessimism vs optimism vs realism didn't pop up hehehe.

how convenient-- Lonzo Ball out vs. Kings with sore groin
seems to me the Lakers didn't want to risk Fox smoking Ball again
that would make 3 disappointing Ball games in a row

btw, Fox only had 1 assist yesterday
overall, i'm impressed with Fox
but without the long shot he's got to be a productive assist man or his value is questionable
the opposite is true for Ball
he's got the passing but needs to be a scoring threat
but then, Kidd had a great career, despite the nickname No-J Kidd

I thought it was Ason Kidd because he didn't have a J.

Anyway, that nickname only made sense for the first handful of years in the league. He is 8th on the list of career 3-pointers made with 1,988. It took him 19 seasons but most of the current leaders (Allen, Reggie, etc) took 18 or 19. It's interesting because his rookie year he was a 28% shooter from 3. He ended up having several seasons of 40% or better.

it will be interesting to see who develops into a better shooter, between Ball, Fox and Jackson.
Fox has the best form, and the two point guards will have more and better opportunities to pick their shots

jordan, kobe, and lebron did have the ball in their hand a lot, however, often bringing it up the floor

It seemed to me in SL that Josh has already noticibly improved his shot. He shot 12/17 (71%) from the line so far. 6/7 in his first game.

He's definitely getting more comfortable and he's a good rhythm shooter. He's got moves he's worked on to create space, his step back going left is his go-to and is pretty smooth. He's also shooting 14-16 from the line, so there's that.

I'm not sure where you're getting that.

Other stats of note:

Bender, Chriss, Josh Jackson and Reed all have fg% in the 30's and 3p% in the teens or 20’s.

Chriss is averaging 7.3 turnovers and 7.3 fouls in 32 minutes.
