Rockets have just announced that Chris Paul will have to miss Game 6 with a hamstring injury. Wow. That's huge. Series probably going 7?

Bland Prediction: we are going to see some of Joe Johnson in the next game.

How about Luc Mbah a Moute? Is he healthy yet?

Great question

Luc Mbah a Moute was a key bench player for them most of the regular season. I think he was injured late in the season and has not played well in the playoffs. Mike has put him in and he has been horrible. He just cannot make a shot to save his life. I think his injury is one of the main reasons Mike's rotation has been so short. This along with the injury that Ryan Anderson had and the fact that it appears Joe Johnson has followed Jared Dudley's diet advice.

It certainly will be interesting as to who Mike plays on Saturday. He has to take another look at Luc, Joe and Ryan IMO. I am sure he will replace CP3 with Gordon. He is very capable of doing that.

If Harden starts making 3 point shots again - who knows what might happen

Tuckers averages this postseason:

32 minutes, 8.8 points, 48.3 fg%, 47.5 3pt% (2.1 makes), 5.9 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.4 steals, 0.9 blocks
I have to say I'm pretty surprised at how many minutes PJ is getting on a championship caliber team. I always thought he would be great on a playoff team. I just thought he would be the high energy defensive guy coming off the bench not a starter playing 32 minutes. As much as I dislike CP3 and to a lesser extent Harden I hope Houston wins so PJ can get a ring.

Wow. That's probably the end of the series. Paul was the difference maker as Harden choked the last two 4th quarters.

End of the series my foot. They’re still up 3-2 and have Game 7 at home.

I want Marcus Smart as our point. He is 110% what this team needs.
He’s the point version of P.J. Tucker

He's fine as a 3rd guard, starter? Not interested.

We cannot add another starter/FA guard who cannot shoot.

And the main problem with Smart is he thinks he can.

He's like the defensive version of JR Smith

Don't you mean, "my hamstring"? Have you watched any of the games? How are they going to win without Paul? I'd be surprised if he's healthy for game 7.

Tucker is a bulldog and he can be really, really good when not asked or empowered to do more than he should. On a bad/young team with no one to hold him accountable? Nightmare.

I agree that it'd be a long shot for the Rockets to win Game 7 without Paul. But the recipe would be a dominant performance from Harden. He could be their PG, run the show, score 40+, dish out a bunch of assists, and so on. They'd presumably start Eric Gordon at SG next to him.

Harden has not been good under pressure so far in his career. Paul has been carrying the team in the payoffs. I'm very curious to see if the beard can step up.

That guy is amazing. I used to really hate him. Now I am just in awe when I watch him. He is playing +40 minutes a game, and has a PER over 30 the last 3 years in the playoffs. Jordan never had a 3 year stretch where he was that effective, despite have a better team against worse competition.

He is the GOAT. It will be a sad day for the NBA when his game eventually drops off.

I think he retires before that happens. He's already 15 years in. I do believe this will be his last contract... however long it is.
