It just feels like almost every game from last year.
Static offense. No defense. I get it’s preseason but it’s mostly disappointing that no one looks to have improved and other than Ayton he new additions haven’t done much yet

You know who would have been a great signing for us? Seth Curry.

I wonder how short McDonough's leash is
I have been a McDonough apologist in the past. But the more I think about it... why *are* we hanging on to him? What has he done to keep his job? He has certainly made a ton of mistakes. Sometimes change is necessary. There has got to be a better option out there.
Team construction has been his biggest weakness and we're seeing it again.
I mean... also talent evaluation, right?? Almost every pick he has made has been the consensus pick for the spot. Sure, we have Ayton and Booker, but is that really an accomplishment?
His talent evaluation is average, to slightly below average in my opinion. His issues have always been roster construction. The guy has no idea how to put together a team with working parts, he got lucky his first year with Dragic and Bledsoe.

I'm really curious how short the leash will be. Igor's a decent coach so I don't see us getting blown out by 50 but I think we are going to be seeing a lot of 20-30 point blowouts this year and I'm not sure that's going to fly.

The organization has already stated they are done tanking and this is not another year of being okay with losing.

True.

He is usually a good value pickup in 2k also 😇

I was against it before but now I am wondering if we should move JJ. Get something for him before his value starts to slip.

Might be an overreaction but man it is frustrating.

It would depend on what his value is right now. He is frustrating, but I am still a believer. Of course, I was saying that about Bender at this time last year.

Ayton deflects, runs ahead, and clears the way for a JJ fast break.

Kokosokov, desperately look up and down his bench searching for defense and 3 point shooting, declines to play TJ Warren more than 12 minutes.
