I wouldn’t touch Bagley either...just can’t stay healthy and doesn’t play defense when he is healthy. Ceiling seems to be a scoring big off the bench(think Montrezl) though their games are different.

What is crazy is that what puts Frank in the top 10 all time for a career, is the same number that Curry made in a single season. (well, 402 vs 405)

Before Michael, before Doc, he was Mr. Hangtime. The 6-foot-5, 225-pound Elgin Baylor was a rare combination of strength and grace, scoring either by powerful moves or acrobatic fakes. Fluid, fast and formidable, he was almost unguardable until a series of knee injuries made him merely mortal. Had there been ESPN at the time, Baylor would have been a demigod.
Baylor remains one of only four players in NBA history to average 25 PPG and 10 RPG in his career. Only two players in NBA history averaged more PPG than Baylor — Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain.
The 71 points Baylor scored on Nov. 15, 1960, was a record at the time. The 61 points he scored in Game 5 of the NBA Finals in 1962 is still an NBA Finals record. Baylor averaged 13.5 rebounds per game during his career, including a remarkable 19.8 rebounds per game during the 1960–61 season—a season average exceeded by only five other players in NBA history, all of whom were 6 ft 8 in or taller.
RIP Elgin Baylor, passing at age 86.

Talk about bad timing … Baylor played just two games in 1970-71 before rupturing his Achilles tendon, and retired nine games into the 1971–72 season because of his nagging knee problems. The Lakers' next game after his retirement was the first of an NBA-record 33 consecutive wins and then the Lakers went on to win the NBA championship that season.

Interesting logic. DA just needs to be good at something. Rather be a stretch 5 or a traditional 5 and get to the FT line. He’s stuck in no man’s land

Yep, as much as we complain, it could be much worse. Can you imagine if that is what you ended up with instead of Doncic/Young?

What a bust Bagley has turned out to be. Ayton has his problems but at least we didn't get stuck with Bagley.

I'm not counting out Bagley yet. I want to see him go to an organization with a real culture or at least an identity.
I'd be more optimistic about him if he could end up in Charlotte, Dallas, or Toronto in the near future. But he might be the next Marquese Chriss if he finds himself in a place like Orlando or Cleveland.

The crazy thing is, as inconsistent and injury plagued as Bagley has been, Mo Bamba and Wendell Carter Jr have been just as bad, if not worse in both respects.

I think Mikal is the only guy from that draft to play in every game since being drafted. And half of the top 10 have missed significant time (Ayton, Bagley, JJJ, Bamba, Carter).

Bagley is talented for sure. I think he will be an nba player for awhile, but ya he’s gonna need to get out of Sacramento before he becomes a difference maker. Harrell has been a good player for playoff teams. Bagley can be that in the right situation.

I wonder how a redraft would go?
I’d guess the top 7 would go:
1. Luka
2. SGA
3. Trae
4. JJJ
5. Mikal
6. MPJ
7. Ayton
Am I missing someone? Am I too low on MPJ? Even with Bagley, Carter, and Bamba being misses so far, that’s a solid top 7. And you can’t write those guys off yet.
Collin Sexton, Mitchell Robinson, and Miles Bridges are also good players. Then you also have DiVencenzo, Graham, Trent, Milton, Melton, Shamet, Walker IV, Huerter, and Okogie. Really solid draft.
