I tend to think that Hayward, Parsons, Bledsoe, and Gortat will all get more than their suggested AAV. In fact, if history is any indication, all the top FAs will get more than suggested.

Getting pretty high with half-stories, are you? ;)
Huh? That was in response to paying Frye $8M/year.
Yeah, I know - was my attempt at humor, seeing how you're among those here who were praising Frye's value to the team. Damn, I'm mis-understood. Apologies for the abstractionism.

That said, I hardly see how the aforementioned group could find fault with giving Frye $8 million per for being such a valuable decoy. ;)

And yes, my brain is indeed reaching critical mass over such spending.....

I like the guy, but I think he is as good as gone, someone is going to throw at least 6.5 on his way, and I hope the Suns stay away from amounts above 6, regarding Frye, unless we get Lebron. Other wise, we are years away from contention and therefore in need of overpaying specialists.
Frye was worth nothing near what he made this past season - I guess it's gonna take some sucker to have him on their own team seeing first hand to realize that.

Buh-bye, Frye - can't blame you for wanting to seek greener pastures, but I wouldn't keep you and your half-dimension around at any price.

Well, in our previous discussion, I was talking about his offensive contributions. I qualified that.

I know - there's been others here as well. Thought I made that clear above.

I think we should make a strong pitch to Hayward and Monroe to come be our frontcourt of the future. Id pay them more than the numbers in that site. FAs have to get big money or they don't come. Also the cap is going to skyrocket in a couple years.

I think Frye indeed makes contributions to the team. The price tag was fixed years ago, in a market that pays forward over past performance and potential, so cases like Frye's is common ground for many teams. I'm not talking about fairness about his next contract, this league is nothing about fairness when it comes to the "next" contract. Frye is about to explode the system on his favor, good for him, just hoping the Suns had a clear line about it.

Phoenix Suns managing partner Robert Sarver expressed confidence that the Suns have a lot to sell LeBron James if or when the team gets an audience with him. "We are in a good position," he said. "We have a lot to offer, too, with the depth of our roster compared to some of the other teams. We think we have a favorable opportunity, but obviously he'll make his decision when he wants to make it.

Coro:
The Suns also have made contact with or been contacted by at least 12 other free agents. That includes unrestricted free agents Pau Gasol, Trevor Ariza, Luol Deng, Spencer Hawes, Danny Granger, Ed Davis, Marvin Williams and Josh McRoberts and restricted free agents Gordon Hayward, Chandler Parsons, Isaiah Thomas and Patrick Patterson. That does not necessarily mean the Suns are interested in all of them.

Did Danny Granger have anything left in the tank last season? Or was he basically washed up?

Whats the deal with Bledsoe?

I haven't heard anything regarding us or anyone else talking to him?
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”
