On a recent episode of his self-titled show for Barstool Sports, the Chicago Bulls veteran Beverley was asked if there was anyone in the NBA that he would classify as “a dirty player.” Without too much hesitation, Beverley named Phoenix Suns guard Chris Paul.

It doesn't matter. Unless Murray or Jokic break a leg, the Nuggets are winning the title.

I was definitely upset when they knocked out the Suns, but com'on, this is a really good team. Jokic is the modern Duncan and there's no one left in the playoffs to match his talent.
There's no shame in losing to the eventual champions. It will be two years in the last three for us if the Nuggets win it all.

Winning championships has never been the determining factor in deciding who is a great player - it's still a team thing. Sure, you aren;t going to win without great players, but a lot of great players haven't win championships (Baylor, Barkley, K. Malone, Stockton, Paul, Nash) or have been upset when their teams were favored. That said, I think history will be much more charitible to LeBron James than it will be to Anthony Davis. But really, it's a testament to the Lakers not having much quality beyond those two. Their preferred #3, D'Angelo Russell, was a dud during the postseason, and you're just not going to win against the top teams if Austin Reaves is your third best player.
Baylor does have a ring. Not that he had much to do with earning it, but he does have it.

Did anyone watch that Boston-Miami finish?

Best finish since the Valley Oop.

Duncan Robinson...SMH.

Miami had no business winning that game with the terrible paint shooting by Jimmy and Bam anyway.

Saturday is a must-win for the Heat, but I’m confident they’ll do it.
Almost.

Crazy. Celtics will probably blow them out in game 7. Nobody’s ever forced a game 7 on their home court, after being down 0-3.

Yep. First time out of four 0-3 comebacks to 3-3 that end up on the home court of the team that was down.

Boston was the first city to do it in MLB. Will they also be the first in the NBA?

Sorry Heat.

I guess I don’t understand why the NBA keeps doing stuff like this. Get 3 refs that are even with both teams so there is no suspicion. Such a stupid league sometimes. It’s like they want the drama.

I guess it didn't matter. Once Tatum hurt his ankle, the Celtics didn't have enough.

Caleb Martin was really good, but com'on, I hate it when these people get cute with the vote like they need to show off their knowledge or something.

It’s like Iggy winning finals mvp…Caleb did what he did because of Jimmy. Certainly give him props for his play, but Jimmy had the significantly tougher responsibility
