The Booker and Goodwin show as of late. Beal looked better in the 4th

Stupid plays after a brilliant 4th quarter run.

This team just refuses to take care of the ball. Nurkic out there making 1 handed dollar store Jokic passes.

Not a good team with a lead, not a smart team with the lead.

We have had some very unsatisfying wins lol
We really butchered the last few minutes but at least did just enough to hang on.

Right when I was getting ready to type, “That is how you finish a game.” when the Suns went up 11 or 13 or whatever it was, cue the Benny Hill music. Ridiculous.

Nurkic has continued his nice play. He had struggled a few games ago with his free throws but made 10 of 11 tonight. That was huge.

Bit of a choke job down the stretch, but a win's a win.

A win is a win pretty or ugly! However it's still quite concerning that we're having thes profound mental lapses and falling apart and forgetting fundamental plays in critical moments. Book didn't shoot as well as he's capable of and Nurkic was solid in terms of production, but he'll surely get targeted more and more as we go forward and especially in the postseason. We do absolutely need another backup alternative center option with length, athleticism and good lateral mobility (in addition to Eubanks) that can actually protect the rim and recover quickly if necessary because Nurkic might become a real matchup liability for us in the 4th in close games.

Now whether or not it's an athletic defensive 4 or an athletic shotblocking 5 or ideally a versatile 4/5 interchangably, we NEED to acquire this frontcourt option via trade or buyout or unsigned options? The names Shabazz mentioned in Nik Richards and Kai Jones in the very simplistic defensive/shotblocking and rebounding role would address those concerns very well. Jones coming really cheap as a vet min flyer option and Richards possibly at a reasonable cost via trade? Obviously rebounding and turnovers are still our most prevalent issues here. Hopefully we can address these concerns and have some form of insurance policies from this trade deadline.

We were really lucky (considering our struggles in this game to have Curry and Klay missing almost everything, and "Draymond Goon" take himself out of the game for us with his dumbazz behavior issues. Still say we need an enforcer though to counter or discourage teams from bullying and being extra physical with us, as it's becoming an all too frequent practice by opposing teams it seems.

When I saw the Green hit, I knew that not only was it going to be an ejection but further time off the court. The question is how many games. Just watched his press conference on TNT. The guy is a horrible liar. Saying he had no intention to hit Nurkic but was just trying to sell the foul. You can see in the replay that Green looks at Nurkic as he swings and hits him in the face. Nurkic said he doesn’t know what Green was thinking but “brother needs a hug.” :D
