The Ayton thrashing of Beverly with the Suns was hilarious! Ayton was introducing Pat to the Vally Boyz one by one. Jevon Carter went off on him. Beverly was so devastated that he didn't stick around after the game was over.
I didn't know they were doing the finals (Book and Ayton) directly afterward so I only had the first half hour and saw the first half of game one. Unbelievably, I'm going to have to stay away from this thread until I can watch the finals (which I have set to record at 4 am) so I don't get it spoiled.

Was telling a buddy that if esports can't breakthrough to the mainstream now, with no other sports/entertainment available, it might not ever.
eSports took a hit too. My oldest son is a big fan of the Overwatch league and even has a favorite team with team gear. They can't get together and have their games now because of the COVID-19. It's just a matter of time right now. The younger kids are more and more into eSports and that trend could continue.

Yea I know the big tourneys draw well as live events but in terms of TV ratings/audience? I just don't get watching other people play video games. Maybe it is a generational thing.

I agree, but the video game industry is huge and the views on Twitch and Youtube videos dwarfs those of basketball.

The only Twitch I know of is the one I'd get when I would watch Dario try and dunk the ball in traffic this year.

Oh, yeah. The kids love to watch others stream games these days. Wild.

James Jones said Kelly Oubre Jr. (meniscus surgery) and Frank Kaminsky (patella stress fracture) have both medically healed, but "kind of pressed the pause button" because they can't do full-blown sports rehab. If season resumes, Jones is optimistic they'd be able to play.

Thanks, that was good to read and catch up. Can I just say though that the video at the top of the guy's top 5 Suns moments of all-time really annoyed me how it ended up with a picture of Barkley in a Rockets jersey?
