If deandre isn’t going to try and defend Luka, do not switch that

This is an intense finish. Suns up 2, Rubio blocked, Mavs ball with 22 sec left.

The problem with going to Book so much down the stretch is that he fouls out and guys like Cam Johnson are cold and aren't part of the offense. I might've had Payton out there instead of Jevon for offense. Ayton doesn't even get a touch in the post.

They're just letting Doncic walk to the basket. If Ayton fouls out, so be it. Give some freaking resistance.
Based on how they are calling fouls on Doncic tonight, if Ayton provides any resistance, it would have been a foul. Its been pretty gross to watch.

That's hard to see. Finney-Smith's hand was moving in the direction the ball was deflected, so...

I thought they would for sure call Ayton for a foul on that Kristaps 3.

Tim Hardaway, 1-12 and 0-8 from 3 and they run the final play for him...interesting decision

Must be frustrating to be a Mavs fan. I know they don't really need these games, but that was brutal decision making by them.

Suns aren’t winning this with Deandre on the bench. Plain and simple.
Oh, really?

5 fouls on Book. Was fun while it lasted.
Yes, quite fun.

Refs had to stomp out any tiny thoughts we had at making a playoff run.
Hmm. They tried their darndest but, no.

Typical game from Hardaway. Hot one night, brutal the next. Same with Burke.

Big time character building win. Refs were giving this game to the Mavs, all our guys frustrated with foul trouble but huge contributions from Payne, Carter, Cam Johnson and Rubio with a great game. Dario stepped up, Frank gave us a few good possessions. Honestly didn't think we'd have a shot in the 2nd half. Loved the bench play in particular.
