This is the biggest issue I have with Coach Fail Guy. I know Tyronn Lue isn't a perfect coach or anything, but if something's not working he's willing to tinker and adjust and try to figure shit out. He's good at putting marginal to decent players in a position to be better than they have any right to be and his teams are competitive partially because of it.Vladimir_Taltos wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2024 9:32 pmIt sucks to be this excited and see so much potential in this team, then to see it utterly wasted by the lack of fire in the belly we've seen way too often this season. Ok, this game was better than the prior three...but that's the deal...the team that was there for the prior three games was sleep walking. And tonight, Young, Bol, Thomas...ZERO minutes...meaning, we didn't really try anything new after going down 0 and 3...really? You'd didn't change your roster around at all? Wow...he couldn't have tried SOMETHING different? Ugh...
I don't get why he went to the locker room. It's not like he's playing. Just sit on the bench in pain. Finish the game. Wolves aren't going to go far if they can't coach through pain.AmareIsGod wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2024 9:16 pmHell of a game! If the Suns can't have a functional coach, neither can they!
You’re right. Dude was killing it this series. Like his 15 points in GM 1 and 14 points in GM 2, and his game 3 where his padded his stats at the end when the game was already decided. But he’ll have some inspirational quotes after today.Superbone wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2024 9:30 pmLove how you guys waited until Beal had a stinker to jump all over him.Wally_West wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2024 8:16 pm+1Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2024 7:59 pmI completely disagree.Furlanfufi wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2024 7:57 pmCmon, Beal was the only one who played like he give a shit in the first 3 games
Anything and everything. (All at once.)Drewsprocket wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2024 9:25 pmThis roster is a mess, I don’t know they’re gonna do this offseason.
It absolutely is. We were expending so much energy bringing the ball up and taking forever to get into our 1 on 1 offense. And we'll we know what the flaws are with the center spot.TOO wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2024 9:25 pmWhy can't it be both?Wally_West wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2024 9:22 pmYou can keep crying about a point guard but it’s the center position that’s the biggest need right now.
Literally.
He needs to go back to that going forward. The Point Book experiment needs to be over.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2024 9:27 pmI disagree. He played more like Edwards when he was in his optimal position as a shooting guard.iLLmatic wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2024 9:24 pmBook used to play like this until KD joined the team.TOO wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2024 9:16 pmYep, he's got that thing that Booker doesn't. It should never have begun. I thought we learned that lesson by 2019.Superbone wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2024 9:41 pmHe needs to go back to that going forward. Thank you for admitting you were in the wrong. Hopefully his quotes will inspire them in the next game. In October.Wally_West wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2024 9:39 pmYou’re right. As a Marquette alum, I wish him the best, but he’s was a defensive liability in college, afraid to shoot from deep, and often injured. He does have remarkable court vision, but I don’t think he’s going to be much of a pro. Certainly not immediately.Wally_West wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2024 9:44 pmAlso I’m perfectly fine with adding a pg. Tyler Kolek. Dude would be great. Replace the EG minutes with him, and plus when you blow it up, he'd probably be a solid starter for a rebuild.
I'm not sure you understand how it works, man.AmareIsGod wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2024 9:50 pmI'm don't watching these idiots. Wake me up next season. You all can enjoy the rest of this season without me.
