Glad we didn't trade the pick away for a PG
There's still time.

Really? Anderson is complaining about his minutes while he's shooting in the low 30s? That's what he thinks we need more of? Really?

He wasn't complaining. We don't even know what question was asked.

Yes we do. I thought the same as you but then clicked on the link. Listen to the questions and his answers.

You're right. Although I just watched it again. It seems like when he says "I know I can do a whole lot more on the court," he's saying it more as "I'm playing pretty poorly" rather than "I should be getting more minutes/touches." Hard to tell for sure, tough.

Maybe if he moved that bird nest off his head he'd find it easier to shoot.

The caption reads it as complaining about minutes:

Phoenix Suns veteran power forward Ryan Anderson talks about his lack of minutes and role on team

I honestly don't get all the Anderson hair talk. I think it was Saucy that was saying it's the worst haircut in the league. Looks to me like just a standard short cut. I did see them making fun of it standing up yesterday during the game but when they showed him, it looked normal.

Most popular trick shots in Suns practices:

Off Deandre's knees and into the stands.
Off of any part of Chandlers body.
Off the hands of the defender and into the opposing team's basket.

There are some real concerns with this franchise, not just the roster construction. Why is effort and attitude our biggest problem year after year? It's possible we've just had a string of assistant coaches in the head coaching job and none of them can run a locker room.

Suns need a basketball executive with vision and gravitas, and owner that won't %$#& with things.

This is the first step, and is why we're fucked.

I can't recall a worse passing team than this one. It's bad. It's like they just watched Brandon Knight tape all summer. Aim for the knees.

Ryan Anderson is shooting like he's going through a mid-life crisis.

What a beating.

Hot take: Josh Jackson is the second coming of Archie Goodwin. Only difference is one of them was the fourth overall pick so people are more patient
Jackson has more talent than Goodwin.

I wish Jackson would just slow down, play within the flow. His reckless barreling to the rim is very Goodwin like, but I agree, he does have more talent than Goodwin seemed to show.

Last year, Jackson started playing better when Triano sat him for a game. Time to sit him again until he goes back and starts playing within himself again. The problem is that there's such a gaping hole at PG and now at SG that he's being asked to do too much. This is holding his development back. As one of the people who thought he could play PG, it's time to rein him back and make him exclusively a slasher and defender -- especially on fast breaks and broken plays.

Okobo is young but this is better than anything I've seen at PG for the Suns since Payton had his debut games. Let's throw him to the wolves and see if he survives. If he does -- the Suns have a starter. If he does not -- bring him along slowly after having tasted what it takes to be a start and make a trade. He looks really good in the highlights -- sure, his jumper was falling but it's nice to have a playmaker at PG.

Was Okobo able to run the fast break? This has been sorely missing.
