Cam Johnson. Solid draft acquisition.

The persona matches the name. It's performance art.

Payne of course has been a huge difference maker. And Cam Johnson's rebounding has been a very nice surprise.

I just realized here at 1:30 in the morning that the Suns hit that 30 game winning mark today in this shortened season with the win over the Pacers. I was right. Worm was wrong.

Saric playing like how we envisioned he'd play at the beginning of the season.

I still don't believe they'll make the play-in games, but I'm really encouraged by what the team has shown so far. It seems like they've finally started to shed the loser mentality that's plagued this franchise for most of the last decade.
I definitely think this momentum can carry over into the next season if the roster turnover isn't too dramatic.

Portland playing too well. I think passing Memphis is our only shot. Memphis finishes: OKC, Toronto, Milwaukee, Boston, so 0-4 is a real possibility. Just think a Suns-Blazers play in is easily the best case scenario for everyone. Definitely been the two best teams in the chase for 8.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Fri Aug 07, 2020 2:23 amI still don't believe they'll make the play-in games, but I'm really encouraged by what the team has shown so far. I agree about the momentum carrying forward. I’m honestly leaning towards running everything back. Keep this starting lineup(Rubio, Booker, Bridges, Johnson, Ayton) and the bench can be Payne, Oubre, Saric. Fill in around those 8 with our cap space/draft pick. Carter can be the 10th/11th man.

I'll be so disappointed if we don't even make the play-in games.

You think Grizz spiral continues and we play Blazers ?

Re: Suns News: Season Resumes
As long as the Spurs cool off a bit, we have a good chance to squeak into the 9th slot. Memphis looks snakebitten now with their injuries and bumpy play. And Portland is white hot, so we may not be able to catch them, especially if some of the teams POR plays start resting their guys for the last couple of bubble games.
Re: Suns News: Season Resumes
I hope so. I think we can beat the Heat. The Thunder and Sixers will be very tough on B2Bs and I'm expecting us to lose to the Thunder. Just get that feeling. Sixers without Simmons should be winnable but on a B2B who knows.
