If this keeps up has he reached say Jaylen Brown’s level as a player? I always used to say Khris Middleton, but how he’s been playing lately is better than Khris Middleton because of the defense.

Wow, the Nets were down 28 in the 2nd quarter. What a comeback in Boston! Happy Birthday Cam Johnson and Uncle Gene!

I was thinking he should be a Most improved player award candidate. Shai probably has it locked up though.

I always wonder if the award is most improved from last season or most improved from the start of the season. I think the award is between Shai and Lauri(I vote Lauri because we knew Shai was great), but it would be hard to argue that anyone improved more than Mikal from the start of the season until now. He’s looking like a top 25 guy in the nba now.

We know how he played the last month with us, in 8 games with Brooklyn he is 25/6/3 and shooting 53/50/92 which is a .668 TS%

Great stuff. But like we experienced earlier in the week, I'm not sure if games against the Hornets actually count as real NBA games.

My son told me yesterday, that he loves Mikal and is happy that he's breaking out, but he's about to mute the word "Mikal" on twitter.

People going off saying how the suns messed up and didn’t know he was this good. I think we’re probably a little surprised he’s expanded even more, but this ignores the fact that he was playing like this for us as well over the last month before he was traded.

He’s definitely taken that another step further, but we knew he was good.

They're projecting. They're the ones who didn't know he was this good. He's also getting more opportunities in BK because they run a different offense and he's a #1 for them. Also, playing in BK helps his visibility because it's east coast.

Meant to post this a few days ago.

I think him getting traded was the best thing for him basketball-wise.

He’s gotta be a top 5 non-rookie contract in the league. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s got the best contract in the league.

Serious question, who’s better, Jaylen Brown or the Mikal Bridges of the last month and a half? Mikal looks like a clear all-star level guy and borderline top 20 guy in the league right now.

Still Jaylen tho. I love Bridges, but Brown has been good for a few years.

Well ya, but I’m saying if this is the new Mikal…he’s playing at a Jaylen Brown level for a good month and a half now.

Bittersweet to see Mikal doing so well. But honestly if we make another Finals/title run or two with Durant, and BKN also makes out great with Mikal, I'll be happy for them. I do like when trades turn out to be win/win, like the Sacramento / Indy trade of Halliburton for Sabonis.

Let's give some love to Saric, too. He's shooting very well in his limited role in OKC. I really miss the ball movement and shooting we had when Bridges, Cam, Saric, and Payne were killing other team's second units.

Just came here to say how much I dislike Dinwiddie. Trying to root for the twins, but Dinwiddie ruining everything trying to be MJ out there.
