Bridges is a passionate and big defender. He can rebound, block shots, get steals, and rotate on bigger players. He's got an attitude and can be a leader on the defensive end who ignites the rest of the team. On offense, if you leave him alone he can cut or drive for a big dunk. I'm hoping Bridges becomes the next Dan Majerle.

Ayton's a true big body. I also like that you can throw the ball anywhere near him and it seems like he can go get it.

I loved how Ayton play D with his body and how smart he was about timing when he swiped at the ball with his hands.Kind of reminded me of Kurt Thomas in that regard.

I'm not as sad about Doncic any more after watching last night's game. Add to the fact that Josh Jackson looks like he can definitely slide into that point forward role nicely. My concern at the moment is our 3 point shooting, although that will improve once The Franchise is back into the mix.

That will improve just by regression to the mean. I don’t think we’re going to see a lot of 3-22 nights.
By the time Booker returns, our team 3FG% will be significantly improved from the .136 where it is now. Mark it.

If Okobo is getting a good amount of minutes at point, I feel better about Jackson and TJ on the floor together. You just can't have Harrison, Jackson, and Warren out there with Booker and Ayton.

He's a good shooter, but that's literally the only thing he does well. He's an awful defender, he can't get to the rim, doesn't pass, doesn't rebound. We root for Bridges and Reed because they can both be so much more than Daniels.

Well, Daniels did make around 12M so far in his career which I guess is well above average for a 2nd round pick, even an early one like Reed. But Bridges should beat that many times over.

fair point. I am saying based on their potential/skill set, they should be much better (especially Bridges) than Daniels.

You guys are right in terms of defense. Daniels is not a good defender. But his shooting and scoring are much better than most of those other guys right now. Given how starved we are for shooters, I appreciate Daniels on offense. And most of our team stinks at D, so Daniels hasn't stuck out to me as worse than most of the rest of our roster in that area. I do acknowledge that Reed and Bridges are better defensively, in Bridges case much better, than Daniels, and that matters.

For those who watched the game, how did our offensive sets look? Again, I caught the end of the 2nd and start of the 3rd and with the starters, there was a lot of passing and cutting and not so much one guy dribbling around trying to create. I liked how crisp some of the sets were and how sharp we were running some of the plays. It reminded me of the old saying, "be fast but don't rush". We were quick and decisive with the passes. It was a nice change to see.
