I believe this is what he was referring to. For some reason, they had used the Suns’ logo for Portland’s opponent (New Zealand) last night.
Thanks. That is weird. The Suns can't be happy about that.
Is whatever lol but word is.....
Ayton got a kick outta seeing the graphic with Blazers "dominating" the "Suns" and could be heard telling his teammates to get used to it cause he ready for them (Us)

I'm curious about the locker room dynamic of this team with so many new people. The last few seasons it was clearly Booker, Paul, and KD/Crowder in one group, and the young guys in another group. It'll be interesting to see how it shakes out this season after a few months.
I noticed Booker and KD immediately walked to the locker room after the end of the game yesterday while everyone else hugged it out on the court. Might they still be a bit salty about last season?

I wonder if his Blazers teammates are already rolling their eyes at his hyperbole.

This was part of "ShelC" updates as Vogel was asked the million dollar question
Before this sentence his initial answer was, "Yes! Book, Brad and KD... I really like those guys"
Smh lol

I feel like there's a clear divide between the stars and roleplayers now, which a lot of the top heavy teams have. The past few seasons it seemed like a much closer group, looser and maybe college-like with some of the younger guys as the team ascended and started winning - they were enjoying the ride. Now it may be much more business-like - the coach was fired, a bunch of trades were made, free agents signed and Book, Beal and KD are the vets who are all about winning while the roleplayers fall in line. Vogel's just gotta put it all together and balance everything out.

It’s also in play that some people don’t like to lose at anything and those two probably were feeling bad about not playing all night long, and even worse, how in those final minutes when the Suns couldn’t cut the deficit, would have played different with them on the court, preseason be damned. The game before, on top of collecting a win, they were more satisfied after showing how they can put 47 points in a single quarter.

For some reason I thought Yuta was younger like 26 or 27.

Are the Suns going to raise the bar offensively that the Kings set last season? This team has looked downright scary on that side of the court in the preseason so far. They have just so many options and lots of shooting on this squad. It sure makes me glad they were able to retain Kevin Young.

Ha, that reporter was soliciting questions on X for him to ask Coach Vogel, and this was mine. Didn’t get much of an answer, but got a pretty good laugh.
