Yep. Clarity. That's what it gives the Suns, clarity. No more trying to do Knight deals to accommodate him. One less distraction. No temptation to give away an asset to move him. No clamor for playing time from media, fans, teammates, agents etc. There is probably insurance on him so Sarver is going to get his money. All he is, is a cap hit on paper with cap money that the Suns were probably not going to use anyway.

And when the Celtics are selecting Doncic with the #2 overall pick next year, it will be like squeezing those lemons right into our open eyeballs. Can't wait!!

You mean since he's not hurting the team due to injury and we're winning more? I'm not too worried about that. I'd rather not watch him play any more for us to be honest.

Ouch.
TFW = "that feeling when" for any others like me who didn't know.

What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton
Clarity for Knight, too. Now he has a good long time to realize that his NBA career is just about over. If he wants to play again, he has to start from the bottom and work his way back onto a roster.

He was on an ideal situation for him on the bucks, we traded for him and his career dropped like Wile e. Coyote from a cliff.

Unless this has been changed in a recent CBA, we get an exception worth 1/2 his salary with which we could sign another player, if we were cap constrained, which we're not, so it doesn't matter.

I don't know Wile Coyote didn't take nearly as many long jumpers

Wasn't Monta Ellis suspended when he got injured riding a motorcycle (or something)? Could something like this happen to Knight? What are the rules for this really, is it only a problem if if the "dangerous" activity is not basketball related?

I think it depends on individuals contracts. There were a numbers of players who owned motorbikes they weren't allowed to ride due to clauses in their contract.
If its basketball related i doubt anything might happen. Just struggling to remember the last time someone had an offseason injury this serious
I guess Reed gets thrown right into the mix in the 2nd unit now.
