We said we'd much rather have Reed/Harrison on the roster, we got it. Glad Reed is getting guaranteed.
Yep, I pretty much thought of Davon Reed when I heard the news. This is a move to free up a roster spot and I'm okay with it.

Solid move.
Please explain. I've never heard of him. Why do we need another forward? What does he bring that we don't already have?
Have you seen our Power Forwards?

Ugh, I thought Cash Considerations could've helped. But I guess we have our PF in Ariza smh.

Holmes is actually a center, played there 88% of his career. I'd rather us keep Chander but whatever. Wish we could've sent Chriss out to Philly.

I like it. He’ll push Bender and Chriss for minutes

Holmes will be our backup 5. He's a good player. Ya I heard we're trying to buy out Chandler

Really? I just read that he's 6'8".

Yessss
I wanted us to try get a "cheap" package of Richaun and TJ McConnell on draft night because he's always been the odd man out in Philly. I'm high on him and don't think he should have been behind Amir Johnson in the rotation

I came here to post about Davon and haven't even seen all the details yet

I think only fantasy league players will know Richaun lol
Most websites had him to do well if/when Embiid missed time
Forgive me if some of you wondering why I'm excited about a relative unknown :)

For those of you who are into per-minute stats, Holmes last season averaged 15p, 10r, 2.9a, 1.0s, 1.4b per 36 while shooting .560 from the field.

I like the Holmes acquisition. Gave up nothing, got back a player who's a better than average back up and solid defensively. If he was a good three point shooter I'd probably have an ******.

6'8.25 barefoot, 6'9.5 with shoes. Weighed 242 pounds at the draft. 6'11.5 wingspan.

I think this means we aren’t signing Alan Williams back.

Holmes is a decent back up 5. Better him than Williams because of his defensive ability. Got rid of Dudley's dead weight, solid day for the end of the bench IMO.

Holmes also has some range behind the arc.

Centers these days..Draymond is 6-7 playing center. PJ Tucker played center for Houston, Holmes has nice size and athleticm.

Draft Exress says 6-10. He plays big. He is like Alan Williams but much much more athletic. He is a perfect small ball center to complement Ayton. He even shot 35% from 3 two years ago when he shot more of them.

His combine measurements were 6-9.5 in shoes with a 7-1.5 wingspan and a 8-11.5 standing reach.

He is longer than Marquese Chriss
