Solid move for both teams. Not sure if this is what Utah needed to fix things but adding one of the best shooters in the league on the cheap is always good news.

Boy am I glad that we took Ayton instead of this guy when we have his national team HC coaching our team as well!

Doncic is the best player on a team with a winning record while Ayton is the 3rd best player on a team with the worst record in the league.

Some fun random stats to change the subject though.

• The best teams on the road are Toronto (9-2), Indiana (7-4) and, slightly surprisingly, Utah (8-6). Utah is only 2-6 at home though.

• Houston is 9-11 for 14th in the West, only 5 games behind 1st seed (crazy!) and good enough to be 9th in the east.

• Minny is 7-2 since the Butler trade.

Seems like unnecessary shade. He's 19.

The team with the second-worst record in the West right now is the 9-11 Houston Rockets. That's just nuts. What a strong conference.
