Should read, "Suns re-sign only guy on team to take a charge to 2nd 10-day contract."

Ha for real! I haven't seen anyone besides Acy take a charge this season, much less be in position to take one. I'd be fine with a blocking call so long as they tried but can't even get that.

I really liked Acy a few years ago but I think he's lost some spring. Or maybe he's not in his usual game shape just yet but I remember with more bounce and explosion. He's been largely ineffective from what I've seen besides the charges and he's certainly not the 3pt threat we maybe hoped he was.

So two crazy things:

A) We have only drawn 15 charges all season. In +40 games.
B) Book has taken more than anyone at 5.

Josh is 4, Acy/Ryno each have 2, and Canaan/Daniels have 1 each.

I've seen a bunch of games and I can only recall Acy's 2 charges this past week.

It is very possible you have blocked out any minutes from Ryan and Canaan. ;)

They mostly happen in the 2nd half after you've fallen asleep.

More like cry myself to sleep after those first halves.

That is a step up from me. I am usually too pissed to go to sleep.

To be fair, Ryno took 2 charges because he doesn't move at all on defense.

What do you guys think about possibly going after Rose and Cousins in FA this summer? Just curious.

It will probably have a lot to do with the initial discovery process in relation to interest from FAs, and what the draft pick is this year. Obviously, there are huge holes in those positions right now.

Derrick Rose isn't the PG answer. Cousins just takes up the same space Ayton does, I dont see the roster fit for either of them.

I don't trust Cousins on a team with no identity and a coach who is questionable at best. Plus, I don't feel good about paying him big bucks when we have no idea if him and Ayton can coexist. And he is a turnover factory.

Rose is having a great year, but the whole borderline gang rape incident sours me on the thought of him as a Sun. From a strictly basketball standpoint, he wouldn't be a terrible option, but his injury history would still give me pause.

Melton is third among rookies in assists with 3.5 per game, ahead of Shai-Gilgeous Alexander who is averaging 2.9.

I get the inflation of salaries, but Conley's deal is still gargantuan. My concern with Nash's deal was the length, not the annual salary.

Fair. But in this case the length is not overly concerning.

I just don't see a better fit out there other than Jrue and I have a hard time seeing him become available.

There is a question I ask myself. I like Booker to death, he is really good. But did he deserve the max contract?
Isn't the max contract for players who win games for their teams? To be honest I'm a little bit disappointed with him this season so far. Seems like he has a burden which he isn't able to carry with success yet.
