Gambo has been trying to defend Sarver. I’m no Sarver fan, but this is an interesting tweet. The hunter and Watson hires were always very suspect. Were they hired so Sarver could control them or because they promised to “bring in players” as Gambo reports

I don't think Saver will decide to do that on his own, but if there's enough external pressure and anger directed specifically at him, maybe he can be goaded into doing the right thing.

Or if that fails, maybe he can be goated into it.

This org needs some stability, legitimization and high character to turn things around. At the very least an intervention.

He's not even close to a billionaire, AFAIK.

Edit: I guess the semantics of "net worth" makes him a billionaire, but he should just sell the Suns so he could actually have the cash to call himself one.

The Suns are worth $1.5 billion. Does anyone know what percentage of the team Sarver owns?

Let's hope this national attention at least get's our organization's attention and they make some changes for the better starting with getting some basketball minds in here and improving the organization of the er, organization.

At the very least, I hope the local media gives them the 3rd degree.

Almost every story or anecdote I have ever read about Sarver involves him acting like an arrogant douchebag, flying off the handle, dressing down somebody inappropriately, bragging about something he should not brag about, interjecting his opinion in a situation where it isn't warranted, or just not reading the situation or audience properly. He's a total ass.

Reminds me of some other rich guy I know of.

I feel like there wasn't a lot of substance there. The article seems to be everything he had, even though he kept referencing on the podcast that there was so much he didn't put in there.

I did find their conversation about Ayton interesting. They both think he is having an underrated season, but could end up being the third or fourth best player from his draft class.

i've been critical of saver from the moment he took over the team. but the last six years is mostly on mcdo (who was terrible).

the problem with sarver now is nobody good wants to work for him anymore. dgriff is an OBVIOUS choice to run the suns org again. I assume he doesnt want the job.

it is sad that sarver had to sign up childress, warrick and turkuglu just to get babby to work for him.

Amin Elhassan has convinced me that David Griffin IS the guy we should go after. He's from Phoenix. He's smart and well liked around the league. He may be the guy that is able to manage Sarver. Do it.

Griffin definitely has some warts, but it would be really nice to bring in someone with experience.

offer KOC or zach Lowe their dream job -- running an nba franchise.

bryan c. is another obvious choice. sarver should reach out to the colangelos.
