He can dribble and pass, both positive additions.

This is a disaster.

RUBIO. CANT. SHOOT.

We dumped TJ Warren, moved down in the draft and gave up a pick so we could sign Ricky freaking Rubio?

Will dumping both Melton and Okobo get us the space to sign Rubio? Or do we have to make some other move?

It should. Depending on where his salary starts.

Overreact much? It's not a disaster. We recently added quality shooting to the roster.

I'm happy with our new PG rotation. Rubio/Johnson/Jerome.

We will have someone to run the team now. Let's hope Ayton and Booker take the next step.

Rubio can’t shoot, but everyone else can, so it’s not a disaster. This could really help Ayton and relieves a lot of pressure off Booker offensively and defensively actually.

Rubio/Booker/Oubre/Saric/Ayton with
Jerome/Tyler/Cam/Bridges/Baynes off the bench.

That’s 8 competent basketball players and 2 supposedly nba ready rookies.

Need to clear about 2.8 million. Think we’ve got a Jackson trade lined up. Probably taking back some salary, but clearing enough space. Could be dumping both Melton and okobo as well.

I'm feeling pretty good about my 35+ win prediction for this season. It should be much more enjoyable than last season in spite of the late season stretch.

I still like okobo.

It's not a bad route to take. I just thought we could've had our core set in place with DAR/Booker/Oubre/Ayton/Mikal. Maybe the FO still thinks Okobo or Jerome or maybe this Lecque kid is the PG answer down the line.

David said dumping them doesn't quite make the numbers work. We will have to get off of Josh Jackson's contact.

He’s also a terrific defender. Not just a fake-hustle guy. We desperately need those.

He was never an offensive player. If he can hit the 3 and be a threat I'll take it. Just get everyone else easy looks and no more PointBook.

Also, it seemed like he was going to Indy and then they went with Brogdon. Wonder how it all went down for us.

Indy also gave up a first rounder and 2 seconds to get Brogdon.
