What's the point of playing a basketball game if it's not being shown anywhere? And I feel like this is the case every preseason.
And what's the point of blacking the stream out for non Arizonans?
I'm sure you can remember the days when none of the preseason games were televised and only part of the regular season was televised on channel 12 or channel 5!

And in other news, Al McCoy is going to skip part of the East Coast games this year - he mentioned (I'm paraphrasing) that it was also because they were the areas where the broadcasters are anywhere near the floor and he doesn't need the hassle.

Of course! (Don't forget channel 45. Man, I loved the old Suns TV theme song.) But tonight there's a working stream that Arizonans can watch. Why can't us Suns fans outside the state get the same treatment?!

I can't even find the theme song I'm talking about. It's not this one although I remember it well too:

The Suns on TV will always be Al and Dick Van Arsdale or Al and Cotton for me.
There were a lot of nights where I would listen to the Suns on KTAR and try to catch the late scores on the local news or by calling the sports score number run by the Arizona Republic.

First Suns broadcaster was KTAR TV and Radio sports director Bob Vache'.
He was killed in a car accident in January 1970, then Hot Rod Hundley and Red Kerr took the reigns.
Next two seasons, Joe McConnell called the games. He left to call Minnesota Vikings and U of Minnesota games
Then it Al McCoy came on board. He'd previously broadcast Phoenix Giants games.
Funny story about Hot Rod and Red.
During one game, Hot Rod asked Kerr about how he would defend the opponent's star player.
Kerr replied, "If I had the answer, I probably wouldn't have gotten fired as coach, Rod ..."

Thanks for the links, with Dish not having Fox Sports AZ anymore plus the league pass option saying the Suns will be blackout since I'm local. Going to need them
