Booker is playing awful tonight. At his worst on both ends

Well we're hanging in there thanks to strong play from Elie, Dario and Diallo. Elie's got a nice feel for the game and plays with confidence. Some of his decisions aren't great and he's missed some potentially nice finishes but I like his game. Devin and Kelly are clearly feeling the 2nd game of the back to back and are a combined 6 for 20. We'll see if one or both wakes up for the 4th.

18 offensive rebounds for Denver. Just not acceptable.

Second chance points just killing the suns. What makes it more frustrating is that those offensive rebounds by Denver are when the suns have more bodies in the paint.

Porous defense and no blocking out. Oof
Oubre and Booker MIA. Double Oof.

Denver is legit knocking down every 3 they take. Denver pulled away with 6 minutes left. Recharge and beat the Wizards on Wednesday.

Another fart of a game by Kelly and Devin. When they are bad, they are BAD. Just ruin everything on the offensive end.

Diallo >>> Kaminsky
Booker and Oubre stunk the place up tonight.
I hope Tyler Johnson finds himself on the bench when Jerome is back healthy.

All of these early season injuries and the suspension are really making some of these games hard to stomach and watch. Finally get a good team and they can't stay on the court together. Go figure.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Second game of a back-to-back in Denver, I was expecting the Suns to get thumped.
They made a game of it until the fourth quarter.
Career-type games by Dario, Diallo and Okobo kept them alive, with Oubre and Booker playing subpar.
Hope to see more of Diallo in future games.
Whatever Šarić had for his pregame meal should be regular fare for him for now on ...18 pts (4-6 from the arc) and 17 boards.
Mose (Tyler Johnson) needs to go back to the family beet farm ...

I had one eye on the game during the entire second half and it always felt like I was waiting for Denver to step up a level and put the Suns away. Alas, it happened mid way through the fourth quarter.

I saw the Nuggets missing on their first attempt a LOT and then getting the rebound or put back. That is one of the disadvantages of missing your top two centers and that was too much to overcome. The game was close most of the way. Denver got hot from 3 at the end and the Suns burned out.
Diallo has really been a big surprise. He’s skinny but, he’s tall and athletic. He’s already a tall bean pole then shoots a jumper with a ton of arc. I know the sample size is small but, he’s shooting about 77% as a Sun. The fouls he got was people challenging him and him fouling them with their shot going nowhere near the hoop type fouls.
Denver sucked at the line.
Like always, different people get hot or cold on any given night and it happens to everyone.

Get 22 from Diallo and 16 from Okobo and lose? Really? Earth to Devin? Earth to Kelly? Can’t have off nights from both guys. Inexcusable.
I was hoping to see Oubre and Booker staggered a bit more but probably wouldn’t have mattered tonight.
Monty needs to call some plays for Cam when Devin and Kelly are struggling. He wasn’t making a ton but this give the ball to Tyler at the end of the shot clock shit needs to end.
When Baynes is back I’ll need Frank to slide into that 3rd string center role please. He’s unwatchable. Polarizing quickly to the Ryan Anderson side of the universe.

I saw the second half only. I'm assuming the mile high air on a back-to-back had a bit to do with the lethargic performance from our two leading scorers. Pity to waste such a great game from Diallo. I thought overall we played pretty well until near the end when we just started letting them waltz to the basket on every possession, often even letting them have a second try at it if their initial attempt missed. Felt like we could have won it if we hadn't given up so badly on defense in the second half.
Hurry back, Ricky, Aron, and DeAndre.

5. Standings are starting to take shape - it looks like 7th and 8th seed will be between us (8-8), Minnesota (8-8) and Sacramento (7-8).
New Orleans (6-11) might go on a tear once Zion is back and the Spurs (6-11) are probably, finally, not gonna make it.

Seeing as i'm into predictive analytics, here's a theory.
In a game where we're minus our best players and the two best players left, Oubre and Booker, absolutely have to show up yet they produce this remarkable box score +/- stinker:
https://espndeportes.espn.com/basquetbo ... =401160880
Did Booker and Oubre just mail it in and give up before the game or were they both out hanging with Mary-Jane last night?
On the basis of the box score and what we know about Mary-Jane, you could be forgiven for thinking it's option 2.
With Ayton out for probably weed (my guess), this is not a good sign. Not necessarily a critically bad one, but not a good one either.
