Our roster constantly has 4 or 5 guys unable to play due to injuries. Remind me again why he got rid of Aaron Nelson?
Was it any different the last few years?
It's tough to say when there really wasn't a lot of motivation for anyone to be on the court. But I hear you.
That’s also a good point, hard to compare the seasons

That’s interesting. I think I like it.

Fantastic start. So happy to see Ayton with a monster start as well.

Carter-Jerome-Tyler Johnson-Bridges-Saric

...that’s a bold strategy, Cotton. Let’s see if it pays off.

Suns playing well, but will have to make a 3 at some point if they're going to win.

Nice start from Ayton.

Pretty spin by DA there.

Keep feeding Ayton. Porzingis can’t do anything to stop him

Porzingis is probably the worst defensive big man in the league. Ayton should be having his way offensively.

These last two calls on Ayton... C'mon, man, what are we even doing out here?

That 3rd foul on Ayton is probably gonna bite our ass later.

They started going at him and he's getting caught with weak calls, but...

Feels like the suns should be up more than 5 and that doesn't bode well because Luka is bound to go off for 25 in the second half. Energy of both teams seems flat which isn't surprising given the Kobe effect. I expect Devin to wake up a bit here in the 2nd - hopefully they don't forget about DA.

That 3 second call was weak..

Quick question, do you have to completely leave the paint, or just 1 foot out of the paint?

They don't call offensive three seconds when the player has an actual advantage most of the time. Ayton was casually moving out of the paint to clear a path for Booker and they call it.

It was terrible, like, ref has a stick up his ass terrible.

Thought that was a solid half for the most part. Lost it a bit at the end of the 2nd to let the Mavs cut the lead down but I like the way we're playing.

Ayton 18 and 5 on 8-8 shooting, Book 12 and 6, Rubio with 6-3-5 and everyone else chipping in. I think I liked the bench unit of Jerome, Carter, Saric, Bridges, Tyler Johnson. Thought they were scrapping and running the 0.5 offense (remember that?) pretty well.
